Error 303 is back

A new mayor update and the dreaded Error 303 on login is back.

This is now a common occurrence. Whenever there is a mayor patch you get an Error 303 when logging it. And then it goes away after a week or two. Could you at Bethesda, just for change, make an update which works right away. Maybe have enough server to handle the increased load at release week.

Or just double the timeout. Sure, we have to wait a little longer but at least we get to play the game.

BTW: when mihoyo has server problems they always have some „we are sorry“ in game goodies the next day for the players. Just saying.

Is „is back“ in the title is a dead giveaway that I have had the problem before and that I read the troubleshooting guide before.

The only part of the troubleshooting guide that ever helped was deactivating AddOns. But hat leaves open a few follow up questions:
    1. Why did the AddOns load just fine on Sunday and don't on Monday?
    2. Why are the AddOns loaded as part if the login process?
    3. Why are the AddOns are not properly sandboxed in a way that they can't break the system?

Answer to all of them: Loading AddOns is broken and has been that way for years.

PS: Inventory Grid View is the culprit this time. Why an inventory mod can break login is beyond me.

Thanks for letting us know that a specific add-on was causing the login issue. Since the issue is now resolved, this thread is being closed from further discussion.
