This isn't a threat, it's a promise.
I am extremely pissed off that I have dozens of gear sets all transmuted and gold and nirnhoned that are now completely useless, and if that is true so is the game, so why should I pay for it?
and why should I say nice things about a team that did me so wrong?

I’m not saying that you should be happy about it much less compliment anyone. Nor do I blame you for discontinuing ESO+ because of this change. I only mean that it is better to make the focus of the message be on how this change has negatively impacted your experience, why it is not a positive change to the game in general, etc. Perhaps any thread will be equally effective (or ineffective) in prompting change, but threads threatening leaving, boycotts, etc. are generally closed while those discussing the game itself invite discussion and, it may be hoped, read by ZOS and prompt reconsideration of such changes.

Don’t shoot the messenger — or perhaps it is meant in jest? I hate these changes too and people should speak out when dissatisfied with a product and take their money elsewhere. I only meant to be helpful based on what I’ve read elsewhere and the outcome of similar threads. At least, if it were me, I would rather see a problem discussed than start a thread only to have it disappear; that is the viewpoint I was coming from.
