Like i said, if they it the way it is a large portion of my collected gear sets have been rendered garbage due to the cyro not interacting with allies heal abilities without a group.

You dont give me my gear back, and your game will never see another dime from me, and I will share my recommendation of not paying for this with everyone that will listen. This is an unacceptable event, and I will not tolerate such an indiscretion, because I SHOULD NOT.

That's it. My gear don;t work, you don;t get paid.

I'll be happy to go pvp elsewhere, Don't be so naive as to think cyro is the only gig out there., Planetside2, GW2, New World will be out soon, Life is Fuedal, Ark, Atlas, 5days 2 die, there is large-scale pvp everywhere and i'll give them all the money that i won't be spending in ESO, if eso doesn't give me my gear back.

And if you feel as though you should not have YOUR GEAR rendered obsolete you should say so right here, join the boycott or next time it'll be YOUR GEAR if it isn't already.

I am hopeful that this change will be reversed since, from what I have read, it did nothing to improve functionality and hurt everyone NOT in a ballgroup and while I don’t want to see people punished for working together, they didn’t need to have everyone else get nerfed! When in Cyrodill, I’m usually in a small group either with guildmates or formed via zone chat and it’s a happy thing when another small group joins in a fight against a tough foe — but why can’t we also buff and heal one another? They had might as well be on the third alliance then except that they cannot damage us.

Anyway, it doesn't make sense, I agree, and I don’t think it produced any desirable changes, so surely it will not be left in this state... :frowning:

I should also add that it really isn’t effective or constructive to post threats. I do understand your frustration. I don’t think most are happy with this change and hopefully it will be reverted, even if not as soon as we would like.

    This isn't a threat, it's a promise.

I am extremely pissed off that I have dozens of gear sets all transmuted and gold and nirnhoned that are now completely useless, and if that is true so is the game, so why should I pay for it?

and why should I say nice things about a team that did me so wrong?

I’m not saying that you should be happy about it much less compliment anyone. Nor do I blame you for discontinuing ESO+ because of this change. I only mean that it is better to make the focus of the message be on how this change has negatively impacted your experience, why it is not a positive change to the game in general, etc. Perhaps any thread will be equally effective (or ineffective) in prompting change, but threads threatening leaving, boycotts, etc. are generally closed while those discussing the game itself invite discussion and, it may be hoped, read by ZOS and prompt reconsideration of such changes.

They get closed because it matters. Your advice is duly noted, Thanks.

I can definitely understand peoples annoyance at eso 's disregard for people .It seems when they wish to make revenue they destroy or make useless old armors to make new armor more desirable hence make more money of existing customers. It is understandable up to a point but they "eso" take advantage of peoples desire to play the game with they need to be reminded now and again people PAID FOR and continue to PAY FOR. It seems they cater more for the twitchers and add on's than actually letting the game be enjoyed by every-one. A perfect example of eso's disregard for paying customers once they hook them is game console's or people like me who use game pads. How many times have you heard people who try to play eso on console after purchasing only to have more bugs than a homeless person on a warm night pardon the pun. If you use a game-ad im sure you will have noticed the 2second delay in your skill firing you try cyro when you are on a consol or using a game pad and your just farmed by keyboard surfers packed to the terra with add-ons with prob upstage the actual game .The point i am trying to make although i am diverting from jd's original point is eso cater for themselves only .you only need to read the posts that have been stopped by eso to see this. The game is a good game that we know but to make it just about farming new armor( because the one you spent mnths farming has been stat destroyed) by buying the latest update is going to get old and lose players when a new game eventually arrives which as with all games does. So yes he has a very valid point that people should not ignore just to score brownie points from them that seem to want to be obeyed .

Don’t shoot the messenger — or perhaps it is meant in jest? I hate these changes too and people should speak out when dissatisfied with a product and take their money elsewhere. I only meant to be helpful based on what I’ve read elsewhere and the outcome of similar threads. At least, if it were me, I would rather see a problem discussed than start a thread only to have it disappear; that is the viewpoint I was coming from.

Well there is another thread on the topic where i attempted to be more diplomatic, after talking in it a bit I decided that It wasn't strong enough of a position :) I can always re-post, i can even make a new account and re-post.

I can take the discussion to the steam forums, i can take it to the mmorpg.com forums. I can take it to countless forums where people look for games and discuss whether or not they should play eso.

So they can by all means feel free to lock the thread, I'm quite sure free speech will not falter.
