Same issue here. Filed a ticket (160613-003017), closed because they were too busy. Hopefully it was an error and ZeniMax isn't abandoning this problem.

Same. None if mine works. I have tried to use them from both quick use (Q) and trough the collectibles and neither work.

This thread is already a month old. While ZOS apparently fixed whatever was breaking our mementos, those of us who already couldn't use them are no better off. Now another patch has come and still no fix. It seems like this is one more "no ETA on that" issue.

@ZOS_JessicaFolsom to be clear: your fix last week did not work for me. I couldn't use any memento on 4 different characters and I still can't do it. Please let us know if you are aware of this and if you have a possible fix coming. Thank you.

Aye, broken on at least one of mine, even after patch. Also, Im pretty certain zoning with one active wasnt the problem for me - Im not in the habit of firing off a momento then immediately zoning...

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom Are mementos ever going to be fixed? They are broken on all my old characters and have been for ages now. The mementos are one of the few aspects of flare present in the game, and going without them really takes away from my enjoyment. If they're going to be broken forever I'd really like to be told, so I can start putting more emphasis on new characters not suffering from the bug.

This morning's update fixed mementos for me. While I'm thankful it was finally resolved for me, customer service was completely atrocious. First, I get an automated reply; next, an irrelevant reply; third, a promise to elevate the ticket; fourth, a refusal for further assistance because they're too busy wtf is that; fifth, forced closure of ticket four days later despite a further update. I mean, why bother paying for a customer service department if they're not going to actually provide, you know, customer service?

Sorry for the rant. Gamma settings don't actually do anything on the Mac client (outside of the gamma settings screen), so Almalexia's Enchanted Lantern is a necessary item for me when I play at (game time) night during the (real life) day, otherwise I'm effectively blind. The bug even followed this character to the PTS. There was no escaping it lol

Hi everyone,

The fix we pushed in incremental patch v2.4.9 for the broken Mementos issue was not retroactive. It did fix the issue so that it doesn't happen anymore, but did not fix the broken Mementos for those who already ran into the issue. We are working on a fix for the remaining cases where Mementos are still broken on characters who encountered this issue before incremental patch v2.4.9. If you have encountered this issue after v2.4.9 went live, please let us know and provide any details you can.

It boggles the mind how little effort they are putting into fixing this. My newest character has never been able to use mementos, which sucks because I use mementos a hell of a lot. Especially Almalexia's lantern. I usually have that up 100% of the time. And if I'm in dungeons, I use it to mark important mobs/which to kill first etc (seeing as you can use the lantern on NPCs)
Been months now and can't do anything. Or at least feels like it

I would like to know why, with many of these items, only you the player can see the effect and other players nearby cannot?

Mine stopped working about two weeks ago for no apparent reason. I got a new one one day, tried it and it just didnt work - and from then on, none of the rest did either. I wish I had more detail but there just isnt any - the momentos just plain old didnt work and havent since then. I didnt zone while using one, I didnt do anything unusual - I was awarded one for a Cadwells Silver dungeon, I went to use it - it didnt work nor did any of my others - thats all I can offer.

With the DB update a bug was introduced that bugged out your mementos if any of them were on cooldown when you zoned, or at least that's what I gathered from what ZOS have stated. If this happened to you, that character will be unable to use any mementos at all. The problem is character-specific, but you could get it on several characters. As a heavy user of Almalexia's Enchanted Lamp I've had this happen on all my active characters.

2 patches ago ZOS supposedly fixed the issue that caused the problem in the first place, but didn't fix the bug for those who already had it at that time. Just a few comments above @ZOS_JessicaFolsom said they're working on a fix for these cases.

I just got the Nirn Wine memento in Cyrodiil, and it doesn't work in Cyrodiil? There's an Alanis Morrisette song in here somewhere...

As per today's patch notes, mementos do seem to be fixed. Thank you ZOS, that only took you 6 weeks
