Yet another "Moving on" post

Yeah, I know nobody likes this type of post and you wonder why anyone would bother posting about canceling subs and leaving the game. It's demoralizing and why bother if you're moving on?

Well the reason is simple. Every little bit of input the developers get that people are canceling subs and leaving because of game breaking issues is going to keep them motivated to fix the game for the rest of you who are sticking around. So my simple comment to all of you advising me to not let the door hit my a$$ on the way out is: you're welcome!

Seriously, we made it to Vet, essentially won the war in Cyrodil, made level 50 crafters, but could not finish the main quest line?? That inability to advance led my wife and I to try out Wildstar, and that got us hooked. We loved TES and really enjoyed * most* of ESO, truly our kind of game (WS will be a real stretch for us, but hey it's something new and we are MMO junkies), but the ongoing problems, re logs, phasing in group issues, travel to player, quest blocks, is just ... Old.

Anyway, have fun. And, yes, I know they hot fixed The God of Schemes. Just a day late for us.

Because good bye threads are against code of conduct. And this thread is just going to get locked. Besides if someone prefers WS...they can go ahead and go. But many will go, only to return. That, has already begun to happen.

Every post like this represents a sub gone that could have supported this game, I get why mods lock them but every one should be printed out and given to all devs for info.

If the number of Goodbye threads were a good indication of how well ESO is performing, then very few are quitting :p

    Lol, we can hope.

I meant more that many just quit and noone will know why, so while quit threads need to be filtered for excess rage they should not be ignored by those who run the game.

That may well be the story for my wife and I as well, and the vast majority won't bother coming here to post their reasons.

No MMO should ever force-solo instances - ever. If this one continues to do so, I fear it will continue to quietly hemorrhage subscriptions.
