And my other post was closed just because I was making an opinion/comparison regarding ESO and another game. Dear ZOS, if you can't take constructive criticism get out of the business. This isn't junior high, you can't go cry in a stall just because you don't like what was said or wrote. If this is how you're going to approach this adventure, you will not make it far. Climb down off that pedastel you put yourselves on and listen to the community! That's step one. People writing in depth posts are not trolls. A troll types two sentences and then leaves. Maybe you should start reading what is written before you swing the ban hammer.

I don't think constructive criticism means what you think it means. You also don't seem to be able to argue a point without contradicting yourself:

so it's a WOW clone with slight twists .. nothing fresh about it then.

You've clearly not come across Copperfield, he is a troll, and his opening post is a long winding shaggy dog story. Half his replies are long rambling contradictions of what he's already said.

If you're other thread is the one the others think it is, then it wasn't constructive criticism. With constructive criticism you point out the mistakes, then offer advice on how to fix those mistakes. That thread was a blatant advert for another game.

If you want to offer criticism detail exactly what's wrong, break it across several threads if it's a long list. Say why something isn't working, why it fails, and include details. Then offer genuine advice, not simply copy this game or mechanic. Include a range of options, try to predict whether people will like it, and why.

The forum rules essentially forbid you from reopening a thread, if the moderator's choose to they could quite easily decide this is a continuation of your previous thread, especially given how you've worded your OP. My advice know when you've lost a fight and move on.

This is good advice and you should take it OP. Because this is a fight you can't win. They have all the power and you have none. You either play by their rules or you get locked/closed or perhaps even eventually banned.

But if it helps you to vent might be worth it. That's for you to decide

I read your other thread, it wasn't constructive criticism, it was a whiny rant with nothing constructive.

I have spoken about EVE Online on these forums many times, even linked to their forums to give examples. Not once have I had a post deleted or thread locked, because... I was making constructive points and using it for examples.

It's one thing to compare and contrast features from games. I do that with ArcheAge. But just because I think ArcheAge does a lot of good things it doesn't mean ESO sucks. If I thought that I wouldn't post.

ESO does not at all suck. The faction story is the best fantasy MMO gameplay I've had in a long time whatever my issues with what happens after.

I want ESO to be an awesome long lived MMO delivering more and more of what I like.

But just coming along and saying 'look at wildstar, in your face' is just silly.

I looked at that game, watched some videos. The raids and PVP concepts look nice but graphics of the characters and world made me look forward to hammering through another veteran level in ESO.

Despite the flaws ESO has such a beautiful world and I will not be leaving it for Wildstar.

And if I was a moderator here and saw someone posting what was basically an advertisement for another game, it would be deleted.
