Altman started off as a lawyer and became part of the company BCCI. During his time there he was accused of helping Middle Eastern investors secretly take over an American bank and lying to US regulators about it. In 1992 he was indicted on eight felony charges in New York. Altman maintained that he was duped. Although he was ultimately acquitted of the fraud charges, he agreed to pay a large fine by surrendering his bank stock and agreeing to be banned from banking in order to settle a suit against him by the Federal Reserve.
Can you believe that? It doesn't look like Altman can do anything but throw money at things. He can't make it on his own, so he buys out Bethesda and ruins their franchise.
In an earlier post I suggested it was Zenimax Executive Management that was at fault. and they are. ...but maybe we should give a stern cold look to Bethesda for selling out to these people, in the first place.
