One benefit of actual tri-pots is that you can quickslot those as well as another variant of essence of health (eg. those that just restore health and magicka). You can't quickslot two variants of essence of health.
Possibly a mistake on my part. I still prefer having them separate, since the icon for the tri-pots are distinctive. But that is admittedly not a huge issue.Edited by BretonMage on 15 November 2025 14:361 -

Ok, no, you're right. I must have made some kind of mistake last month when I tried, it would just replace the essence of health I had previously quickslotted.0 -

Ok, no, you're right. I must have made some kind of mistake last month when I tried, it would just replace the essence of health I had previously quickslotted.
The problem is that a whole bunch of them come out with the same name, so it's easy to click the wrong stack when you're going to slot them.2 -
