Have you completed your master crafting stations

Both my guilds have 'guild halls' with fully upgraded master crafting stations and I've contributed funds towards them.

I have no intention of getting all the sets in my own house. I've got the crafting stations and I've got a few sets added to each, but I don't need or want all of them. Even if I didn't have access to the guild halls I'd get the sets which are the most hassle to access out in the world and skip the rest.

One of the main reasons I pay weekly dues in guilds is for access to fully decked out crafting guild halls.

The OP is in for an expensive project if they're going to try to fill the Grand Master Stations with purchased attunables. Figure ~750K gold per set (PC NA prices) times 83 sets (two more coming after Phase 3 and no idea going forward); that's a real chunk of change. OTOH, I mostly did mine with writ vouchers and that was a many-month process, although I bought a few sets to speed up the process. The stations arrived with Update 40, but I didn't seriously try to start populating them until about a year ago and finished in late summer.

Now I sell the tables. Averaging 2k - 2.5k writ vouchers per week. Its a decent gold source for me.

I am contemplating making a 2nd personal set for a 2nd house. But giving up that gold would be tough.

I just surpassed the current halfway point this month. I save up my vouchers. Once I reach 3000, I get three of each table and collect all the sets in a given zone. I rarely buy a master writ. If I do, it is typically in conjunction with an endeavor to purchase from guild traders or to do a specific type of master writ that hasn't dropped for me yet.

I have access to full crafting stations, but I like the idea of being self-sufficient. Hence, I'm working on my own.

Yeah i did it as soon as they were available for the guild. Cost me well over 100 million in gold to buy enough ingredients and writs to get the vouchers to buy the stations then all the attunables. Took about 3 days but glad it's done. If it were for me personally I would never bother when we have a fully stocked guild village.

What is the point? Crafted sets are inferior to trial sets with the only two worth using being Order's Wrath and Tide-born and only if you do not have all the pieces for a DLC dungeon or trial set.

Not to mention I am not a fan of sparkly FX effects that these crafting stations light up with when fully attuned, I like to keep my places looking sleek and realistic.

No. I'd theoretically like to, and I have a decked out Grand Master Crafter more than capable of doing it. But staring down that grind.. it just... doesn't sound fun at all. And the additional convenience and practicality factors are arguably limited even if you don't have alternative access via a Guild Hall or something.

Somehow: expensive busy work just doesn't wax my enthusiasm in my limited leisure time. Maybe someday. But if I'm honest: I doubt I'll ever get &/or finish them. Which is a shame. If they felt even a little more accessible - a little less ruthlessly grindy - I'd probably bite the bullet and invest the time, resources, money into the economy, etc.

Oh, well, I guess.

I have them in my Snugpod so I can port there on my AD main and turn them in next door. I put in a loft with the alchemy, enchanting, and provisioning tables upstairs so I have everything.

I used some gold for the last few tables but I already had 65k of the writ vouchers when I decided to start doing this. I had just been doing master writs every day for years and saved them up. I was never interested in a sea of attunable tables but the new GMC tables looked so nice I decided to grind that one out as a stretch goal.

So glad I did this. It is a great feeling of accomplishment. I used to go to a guildie’s house but now I don’t have to.

After that long haul, with a fully functioning factory churning out master writs rapidly enough that adding any new added craftable sets as they release will be a simple mundane chore. And since I really don't even have much of a use for my writ vouchers anymore, the gold income they're providing is somewhat obscene.

The sense of accomplishment felt great! Amazing! But if I'm being honest, the past month I've been feeling a bit lost in game. With the project being over, I'm feeling a bit aimless. Still trying to figure out what the next project's gonna be.

Pretty much the same here. I used it as an incentive, using a mixture of earned and bought writs (There is little else to with money beyond trading, and making and trading is something I've already done in another game). It took a while, but breaking the task down into smaller units, 3000 writ tokens buys all of the crafting tables in a zone and 3000 tokens repeatedly is far better than 81,000 in one go. Now I've not only finished all the crafting tables in game but have plenty spare to buy the new ones.

In the end its better for me to have my own set rather than rely of a guild house or moving all over Tamriel looking for places to craft.

When I do craft I tend to craft the same sets. I have a few old crafting tables I never even linked to a set, waiting for me to decide which set. I'm not even sure that's how it works.

Honest question to those who answered "yes". How did you manage to do it? What was your effort, I mean on how many crafter characters you do writs, how much gold did you spent, how did you acquire the required gold?

I am asking this because, even though I play since the beginning, and my main char is an accomplished crafter, I only play ore or three chars tops - this is what my time limit allows - and I feel that for my play style I will never finish these stations.

I also have access to several completed crafting houses with all the dummies, mundus stones, and other utilities available, so I don't see the effort to be worthwhile.

Anyway, big congratulations who those who completed them or are close to do so!

I did this in one weekend last December. when I was bored and looking for something to do. I had a bunch of gold in the bank doing nothing since there is not anything I need to spend gold on. (I spend some on motifs and plans, but not much.)

I earned the gold from a time when I was doing the daily crafting writ grind on multiple characters. I had stopped that awhile back, but I also had a bunch of master writs in the bank, so had enough to get the master stations.

I had some attunables that ZOS gave away, and then spent gold on guild traders for the remaining I needed (it was about 30m-35m total). I bought most of these from others in my trade guild, and in the sister trade guild.

I then pulled a list off a website for all the craftable sets, and just ported around attuning them. (Helps I did this on my main, which has all the wayshrines open.) Luckily I only accidentally attuned the same set station once.

Overall, I am happy I did this. Now it's just keeping up with new sets, and I still have some attunable stations leftover in the bank.

Edit: I think i had the order wrong. I think I started with getting the list of sets needed first. I printed it off to make a checklist.

The list is not the issue, lol... How much gold was in that "bunch of gold"?

I can barely gather enough vouchers to get an outfit station (the one with 500) or a transmutation device.

I have 9 of them currently. I had started that project, but then decided to take a break from the game over the summer. I'd pop in to get monster helms as needed from the Golden Vendor. Now that I'm playing semi-regularly again, I might resume that effort.
