[PC EU] Kicked out of the game again, followed by Error 103

Just like the past few days, the problems started again last night. Zones were empty until I eventually got kicked out of the game, followed by repeated Error 103 preventing logins for a long time.

And this morning the same story again: 5 minutes in-game, zoning, then kicked out, and now stuck with Error 103.

Considering these ongoing issues combined with the recent instability, it's no surprise player numbers on EU are dropping rapidly.

    Update:

After 30 minutes, I was finally able to log back into the game. My character appeared back in the zone where I was just before the initial disconnect. However, as soon as I attempted to travel to the intended zone again, I got stuck in a 5-minute loading screen that eventually ended with me getting kicked out, this time with Error 334.

    This is getting really frustrating.

I don't know if it affects the game servers as well, but there was an Apache update that's causing quite a few problems from a few days. This morning, the my company contacted us at 6:00 AM because customers were calling infuriated because the sites weren't reachable. The problem is, the patch won't be released for another week.

The problem is caused by Apache not recognizing DNS. This is a global issue and affects some system versions.

    Update:

This time, I managed to log back in after about 5 minutes.

However, the loading screen took roughly 4 minutes before placing me back in the previous zone. Strangely enough, once loaded in, the game performed exceptionally well—I could move, fight, and experience perfect responsiveness. No surprise there, given that almost no players seem to be online; guild rosters are virtually empty.

Then, another attempt to zone. Again, a 5-minute loading screen ending in… Error 334. Congratulations.

It's been like this for 20 minutes. I know it'll kick me out due to timeout issues and also bring up the loading screen.

    Update:

    Something new happened.

About 6 minutes after being kicked, I tried logging in again, only to get Error 304 this time—the server thought I was still online. Great.

Another 4 minutes later, I finally managed to log in. Loading into the previous zone took another 4 minutes.

I tried zoning again: 5-minute loading screen... and I actually made it! However, the new zone was also deserted. Picked up a quest, entered a subzone—another tense 5-minute loading screen—and successfully arrived. Finished the quest, then attempted to port back to the quest-giver…

Another 5-minute loading screen… holding breath… Error 334 again. Arghhh.

    Update:

Oh my god, what just happened?
Did someone plug a cable back in? Disabled all firewall rules?

Everything is working again—with loading and zoning speeds I’ve never seen before.
If it stayed like this... it would be an absolute dream.

Praying and lighting a candle. 🕯️
