I'm very depressed and disappointed with this decision. I no longer trust Zenimax and they listened to the wrong type of players. The forums are no longer a safe space.

    They also probably removed moderation either by mistake or on purpose. I don't know. Something about this seems off

    No idea but it's fine by me. I can handle it. These forums I've never felt to be a "safe space" anyway. I'll refrain from my opinion, but the fact I feel I need to reiterates my point.

    Many staff members, including Kevin, are not at work at the moment due to the holidays. He informed us of this earlier.

    If moderators do not respond within a couple of minutes to a violation or complaint, try giving them some time. (I believe the thread you're responding to is already hidden, by the way.) You can always follow up with Kevin when he returns.

    We haven’t updated anything on the forum since Dec. 20. The team has been gone. So if a filter is missing, then this is a technical issue. We will investigate.

    It wouldn’t be on purpose unless they update the ToS (which they’d probably have a notification for) or made an announcement.

    A bit of an overreaction? If anything is suddenly gone without any form of notification it's clearly not done on purpose and a bug, even more so during holidays.

    The profanity filter is also notoriously bad and surely doesn't have any effect on this forum being a safe place.

    This is a huge overreaction.

    Maybe you should take a break, log out for a while. Do some New Life quests or even unplug and go outside! Doesn't that sound nice?

    I know. I'm sorry. I sometimes overreact when I see something bad happening. The odd thing is I am outside posting this. I did see a post when the s word wasn't blocked but it has been taken down now.

    Also according to Kevin's response, it looks like a mistake happened.

    Just an update here. The filter is not broken. Seems like we had a word slip through the cracks. We’re addressing this now.
