We need more trials for the time poor...

Keeping it short and sweet: one trial a year is not enough.

What we need is 2 trials a year: one large trial like LC, DSR etc and a smaller arena one like Cloudrest or AS.
ZOS can even reduce the number of sets to one for each role per trial so we have 6 in total. My main motivation is getting together with friends once a week for a quick run.

Nuff said.

Get good enough at the content and every trial can be "a quick run".

More trials would be awesome though.

I need more trials run in my timezone. Like right now, there are no prog groups available for me.

    Not quicker, more arena trials.

    That's kinda slow tbh.

I ran some "let's get good at vas" runs on Monday and our fastest kill was 3:10 with multiple deaths.

I heard of a 1:19 kill happening last night (1:24 total trial time) and it isn't even the fastest clear this patch.

I know of prog groups happening around the clock on PC NA. So that might be server related.

I've been thinking about how they could turn the end of year fights, like against Kaalgrontiid, Rada al-Saran, The Ascendant Lord, into mini trials.

Those fights have some interesting mechanics and it's just a shame it's only for one fight that you'll never really going to do again unless you're dedicated to doing everything over again, not to mention that they could add new item sets, titles, cosmetics and other collectibles.

Nah, more story content or non-time sync quests. If you have 15 minutes here and there you can't grind and make little sense to even bother. From someone in this category I don't even bother with trials, group dungeons, PVP, or any of that. I want to relax and enjoy the lore when I can.

Given the current direction of group content and pushing the game to less story content, it's less and less value to me over time. But fully honest, I came here from playing Elder Scrolls not MMOs or any group content at all. No idea if it's just me.

I don't think this post was aimed at you. I know I spent approximately 90% of my ESO time raiding. Somewhere around 20-30 hours a week. Two hours of cloudrest can be 10-15 clears with a bunch of wipes/resets in between.

Some storyline bosses appear in the Infinite Archive, but not all of their mechanics get used in there.

Maybe something for 6 person groups something more challenging then dungeons but not as punishing as trying to 6 person a full trial.

I don't see it happening....Trials is by far the most expensive content to create and there is only a small amount of people that even bother with them...they are not going to spend a mass amount of money for content only a handful of people will participate in....

    Thems the facts.

I think more people than you think engage with trials.

For example, between June and mid October of this year over 4000 unique (as in unique accounts) Pithka add-on screenshots were submitted for clears across all discords that use a particular tagging bot. This is mostly only people who are endgame or interested in endgame, and are members of servers that utilize the bot, and primarily play on PC NA.
