How do we get event tickets?

I killed a world boss in High Isle, and finished Shipwright's Regret. No tickets. So ... How do I get them?

Daily quests on Galen or High Isle, same as every zone event.

If you have 12 already you can't get anymore yet though until the Impresario reappears. She's a bit late atm. Zos is working on it

Throughout the duration of the Legacy of the Bretons Celebration, players will earn two Event Tickets for completing the first of the following activities once per day:

Daily Delve, World Boss, and Incursion quests in High Isle
Daily Delve, World Boss, and Incursion quests in Galen
Weekly Trial quests in Dreadsail Reef
Killing and looting the final boss in either Ascending Tide or Lost Depths dungeons
Tales of Tribute Daily Quests (PvP or PvE)

Sometime, just read the ad hoc documentation.

Shipwright's Regret is one of the dungeons in the Ascending Tide DLC, so based on the announcement, killing and looting the final boss should have dropped tickets. But I don't know if you must do some minimum amount of damage to the final boss.

Completing and turning in the daily quests seems like the most reliable way to earn tickets. Edit: But killing a world boss won't be enough, unless you killed it for a daily quest, although you should get the tickets when you turn in the quest, not from looting the corpse.

Yes tickets are always 2-3 per account depending on the event most are just 2 tickets per day

If you're talking about looting the corpse, tickets do not drop from killing and looting a delve boss, only from turning in a daily quest for a delve.

The group dungeon final bosses apparently do drop tickets if you kill and loot them, but they are an exception.

Yes, 2 tickets per day, per server, per account. So if you play on 2 servers each day-- e.g., PCNA and PCEU-- you can get 2 tickets on PCNA and 2 tickets on PCEU, but not 2 tickets on each character you play on.

You have to get the daily quest for that boss, then kill it, then turn in your daily.

For clarity looks like only the Dungeon Bosses with give tickets directly. Everything else is tied to a zone daily quest.

Not sure why you wouldn't have gotten tickets for the Shipwrights boss unless you had max tickets already or based on your post time possibly the event wasn't active yet.

on High Isle did the WB Daily - got the chest, 0 tickets

did the Delve daily and killed the Boss - got the chest, 0 tickets

You don't get the tickets until you turn the quest in.
