is currently in Obsidian Scar Public Dungeon, Rivenspire - been there last 2 or 3 days, up for long periods of time pulling 1 trash mob every spawn cycle.

Reported in game with image attached, so hopefully will be removed very soon...

Now go find the other 10,000 currently active and farming in starter zones every single day.

Our family name is linked to Van Helsing so I'd only go looking for them if they were vampires with a decent bounty on their heads.

I found 3 bots fishing in a public dungeon in Eastmarch or The rift. Now I know why there so much perfect roe on the market.

That's exactly what a bot would say.......

Yes but what did the first bot say? And what did the others answer?

Perfect roe was made easier to get in U44 too, I scored around 50 mourning dew as well. You don't even need to fish for it between satchels and event bonus loot.

It’s so bad in zones like Khenarthi’s Roost. Was just there grabbing skyshards and it is crawling with naked sorcerers running around in very obvious patterns. Would love to see this addressed somehow.

Maybe they can't tell who the bots are. Perhaps if they can get all the real players to leave the game, they can more easily identify those that are bots?

Maybe if ZOS just restarted the game without any warning several times a day all the bots would get booted along with everyone else and restarting them would become such a chore that they would just go away. 😇

Just give us a secure system to trade crowns for gold. This way the money could be invested back into the game, instead of supporting cheaters.

its also quite easy to put in a report. unfortunaltey the reports fall on deaf ears... people have been reporting them for 10 years in some cases. the ones in alikrs are still there.

To be fair they often get squashed. My favorite one in Bleakrock I would report on a regular basis and the account would be killed in a day or two. A new one would be made to run that circuit again and get reported again. I should add, I haven't seen that circuit being botted in a week or two, which is novel after seeing them there for months. I get those 5 extra metal nodes they were farming!

This is just from anecdotal experience on my part, but from I see on PSNA, bots are taken out in waves. Usually around the same day each week. There will be one day with significantly less bots, but before the end of day they've repopulated. It's like the botters know this, and have built a regular schedule around it.

I used to report bots all the time, but now I rarely bother. Because I'll report a bunch, they'll all be there all week long until the afforementioned Wave hits, and there will be maybe 12 hours of relative bot free living. It's just not worth it anymore IMHO. If ZoS isn't going to take it seriously, I don't think the playerbase needs do so either.

I doubt that will stop it.

My feeling is that it would just add additional operation costs for ZOS. Meanwhile, I have to think that the overhead of the average gold seller is less than ZOS, so my thinking is that they would be able to easily undercut. If it is always cheaper to go to a "favorite" gold seller, why bother buying from ZOS?

ZOS needs good detection and prevention functionality, without impacting innocents. From my perspective, they are still struggling with the latter.
