Well here you have it. It's fully legal to take the relic through the walls. It's not an exploit but a feature.

This recent update has made me sad. Sad for the game. Sad for the community. Sad to pay whatever it is now. I want the previous eso back.

    So it's not banworthy, but can anyone answer if the devs intended Relic grabbing to mechanically work this way?
    PC/NA || Cyro/BGs || retired until Dagon brings a new dawn of PvP metas

    The bot sees the action of grabbing a relic, but fails to see there is a wall in the way. This is terrible.
    Making a game fun should be a priority. Making a game balanced should not come at the expense of fun.

    I find it hard to believe the devs intended anything beyond cobbling these new bgs together in time for the q4 release. Little if any thought and/or testing went into this pvp release. This is painfully obvious by this and a plethora of other issues.

    They'll either fix it or they won't.

    Pretty much this.

    On the 4v4v4 maps, there were so many exploits it was kind of ridiculous. Being able to walk through walls, hidden teleporters, etc. Some of them slowly got fixed over the years but many didn't. Arcane University was probably the most busted map. I used to chill in the hidden room near one of the capture points and watch players fight it out and nobody would know I was there 🤣 I loved that map.

    Anyways, there was a way to pick up the relic through one of the walls on Ald Carac but it got fixed. So maybe they'll fix it in the new BGs as well.
