I got the vampire one, and I agree, it was less effective against enemy players and also more difficult to manage as a ball carrier. Not sure if I like the new mode compared to the old chaos ball, the groups didn't make use of the map at all, just fought in one place like a mosh pit and swapping the ball around. I didn't get the WW transform but it seemed more fun.

There seems to be two different types of chaos ball games with no distinction from each other until you pick up the balls. I had chaosball matches on the 8v8 alik'r and argonian map where all 3 balls didn't have any transformations, and matches where two of them have transformations.

From what I've noticed, on matches that do have the transformations, only the left and right ones will transform you, and they also seem to give less points than the one that doesn't which would be the one in the middle, even if you have both of them. I'm not sure if this was this was a bug or not, but our team that only held the middle non transformation ball was holding the lead despite the other team having the 2 transformation ones.

The transformations are also completely worthless for PvP. I'm not sure if it does anything to your stats or not, but you feel super squishy as if you have no resistances. They also come with no heals, so you're a free kill if you're caught alone. You really don't do much damage as them either.

How do you get the ones with NO transformations? Players dropped vampire for a reason. If you have never played a werewolf, then a bg is not a good starting point.
