But seriously, daily login reward, feed alt mount, logout.

Not even doing that anymore, TBH. Time I waste logging into ESO is time I’m not spending on the other MMO I’m playing right now (that one has no performance issues — my ping is always 60-70 in that game). I’m now logging into ESO once a week to do writs and confirm “yup, still having ping spikes in the 400s while simply crafting.” When I stop seeing those horrendous ping spikes, I may consider logging in more than once a week.

Time spent on the ESO forum is time not playing the other MMO. I'm just curious: if someone is not playing ESO, then why is the forum a major focus?

I cancelled my sub and haven't logged into eso in over 3 weeks but I post on here 5ish times a day.

    Why?

Because I want to follow through with getting change to happen to the performance. Old school ZoS was notorious for having a general mindset more or less of "just hope they go away" (complaints) so I'm making sure they don't just... go away.

lol yea I will be logging in later for the first time in two weeks to catch up with someone, but i expect it wont be long lived. I have been checking the forums daily though, mostly because its gotten so sad that its kind of funny now.

If you play on WiFi setting a static IP is what fixed it for me.

This is a good suggestion. Issues like what the OP is experiencing are not on the severity side of things, or everyone would have the same issue. The local Internet can be just fine, but Wi-Fi is not a protected signal as it is open to interference. Even then,

I used to have issues getting DCed from a game. The internet connection appeared to be just fine. I noticed TeamSpeak would drop every second just before I would DC from the game. There was a brief second flutter in my internet that even the provider could not detect remotely. They sent out a local tech who was able to find the issue.

Yeah I usually get this around ball groups or the hammer in Cyrodiil.

How my ISP can tell what I'm doing in the game and decide to act up at that very moment is one of the great mysteries of the internet.

I've stopped playing but I check on the ESO forum regularly: I quit because I main on PvE stamden and my class got one nerf too many after a long line of nerfs since patch 35. I always check the forums and the PTS patch notes in the hope that they will fix this class so I can do endgame content with my guildies. The latter also requires ZOS to fix performance because trials can't be completed if half the raid team get logged out and can't get back into the game.

Bottom line: ESO is my game and want to play ESO but I just can't enjoy it in its current trash state.

The forum is hardly a “major” focus of mine. I keep checking in to see if there are any improvements, or if there have been any official announcements on the performance problem yet. I’ve spent several hundred dollars on this game over the years, so I’d actually like to be able to enjoy what I’ve purchased again.

Same... except my several hundred $ is closer to several thousand (I'm ashamed to admit that)
Will the real LadyGP please stand up.
