"Complete challenges, earn rewards! A brand-new activity and rewards system coming with Update 44, Golden Pursuits are dynamic, one-off campaigns (accessed from the Group & Activity Finder) that allow you to earn additional rewards during special limited-time windows. When a Golden Pursuit is active, you can complete a batch of curated, unique activities to claim in-game items while working towards a special capstone reward."

This will be 24 hour many time zones planet friendly..... right??? The windows won't just be prime time EU and NA server.... right?

Maybe, just maybe, I am trying to have some fun here, we go to Vvardenfell, fish some fishes, and golden pursuit system would be triggered, the objectives would be toward fishing and making us fish some rare fishes and so on. I am just spitballing here.

The reality maybe that this golden pursuit is nothing but a gamepass system with elaborate nonsense marketing speech trying to make it sound something unique.

My guess is that the Golden Pursuit will be multi day "event" or even a monthly thing.
Hopefully with multiple Tasks so every branch of Player has something to do in their realm.
But we'll find out soon enough.

I mean... Endeavors are also "limited time windows," but those times are 24h or 7 days. We also have Crown Crates available for the 'limited time' of 3 months. I wouldn't jump straight from "limited time" to "this is up for 3.5 minutes only at primetime for anyone at Point Nemo."

It's likely something like Battle Passes or whatever that other games have - a monthlong set of endeavor-like tasks that we'll get rewards for.

I suppose we'll see more when the PTS drops on Monday, but they may also test a few options so we may not know the length of time they'll be around at that point.

There is also the remote possibility that it won't start for a while. They said we'll get more info "sometime after the U44 launch," so it's likely not going to even happen until U44 launches on console. I could even see them waiting to make this a 2025 thing, since we'll be starting the year in U44 and won't get U45 until March.

Not actually drawn a line between this and battle pass myself but now I'm interested to know if it will ever have a paid track like those, call it eso plus track idk. as every feature always has something to do with purchases.

I'm at least excited to know more. My main gameplay is just doing endeavors, so if it's something similar, that's fantastic. Just doing skyshards and a random here or there isn't cutting it, so if this keeps things fresh, I'm all for it. In general, I enjoy seasonal content. I just hope it's not yet another monetized feature, feel like we have enough of those.
