This is becoming an increasingly common inconvenience. That's two IA runs ruined in one week. Not cool. I feel for the people doing challenging trials and the like.
Srsly? Again... Last time I've checked we had EXTENDED MAINTENANCE FOR EU, SHOULDN'T IT PREVENT SUCH THINGS?!
Say no to Toxic Casuals!
I am doing my best, but I am not a native speaker, sorry.
"Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game." - @AlexanderDeLarge
Dear developers, support team, and all other responsible parties,
As committed and passionate members of this fantastic online game's community, we would like to address you with an urgent plea. Many players from the EU are currently very dissatisfied with the current situation, particularly regarding availability and the quality of connection. We fear that these issues may lead to a significant number of players abandoning the game, which would be regrettable for both the players and the game itself.
In our opinion, this game has tremendous potential and offers an exceptional gaming experience. The community is great and dedicated, and we all want the game to continue to grow and thrive. However, many of us are currently experiencing significant difficulties that are greatly affecting our gaming experience. The most common problems include:
Connection drops and latency issues: Many players report frequent connection drops and high latency, making the game almost unplayable. These technical difficulties are particularly frustrating during important gaming moments or in competitive situations.
Server outages: In recent weeks and months, there have been more frequent server outages, often occurring without warning and for extended periods. These interruptions not only affect the gaming experience but also erode trust in the reliability of the game.
Slow support response times: Many players feel that their inquiries and issues are not addressed promptly and effectively. Faster and more efficient handling of support requests could help reduce frustrations and strengthen player trust in support.
We urge you to take these issues seriously and prioritize them. Improvements in server infrastructure, optimizations of network connections, and more efficient support communication could significantly help improve the current situation and restore player satisfaction.
We firmly believe that you, together with your talented team, are capable of overcoming these challenges. By improving the quality of availability and connection, you will not only retain the existing community but also attract new players and secure the long-term growth of the game.
Thank you for your attention and commitment. We hope for positive changes and are available for further feedback.
I am sure it's your own hardware. Did you call your Internet Service Provider? And did you work through all the links in the technical support help site? Maybe try turning it off and on again? /s
Well, I think ESO has an issue where, if your IP address changes, they kick you. This may be lack of error handling or a security measure. IMO it's something they could and should fix. There must be cryptographic means whereby they could transparently reconnect and stay secure.
That said, I was in a trial and half the group got kicked, the other didn't. Today's incident may be outside of ZOS' control, such as Internet or DOS attack issues.
