I play with the blade of the night. Suddenly I realized that a player was watching me and was telling my coordinates to his friends from another alliance, while this player and the players from the other Alliance had the same guild tabard. How to play? Where's the fair play? How do you feel about this situations and can players get banned for this?

Yep! Since I only play Nightblade, I have doubts and just want to delete the game for such deception

I mean, it sucks. But there’s literally no way to prevent that from happening. Even faction locking doesn’t stop spies from communicating with friends in-game or otherwise.

You can try recording that and file a report in-game. It may or may not work given how the Customer Service is. Tbf, it isn't cheating but probably griefing.

not that i like what happened, but for one thing you can't prove it was accidental and for another your post here took longer than just respawning and moving on. this is pvp, not a petting zoo

    1) Do not confront these scrubs directly. Many of them are parasitic in nature and are desperate for you to give them attention. It's why they go to such lengths to make others notice them.

In some cases the needy entities may be trying to provoke you into saying or doing something they can report you for. So don't interact with them.

    2) Take a recording of the scrubs doing their thing. If possibler get the @ names of both the troll alt, and the people it's helping.

    3) Share that recording with any guild mates and friends so they can send it in and or spread it around. Hosting it on twitch and or youtube can be handy.

    4) You and others should then file your in game reports. Make sure to report as many of them as possible for stalking, harassment, etc. Make sure to include the fact they're not just cheating but actively trying to make you and others quit the game.

    5) When you get the scripted email response from ZOS reply to it with a link to the video in question. Make sure it's in hosted somewhere they can view it as they don't want files sent directly to them.

    6) Laugh. Laugh at how hard these low skill scrubs have to work just to get an easy kill. After all if they were any good they'd not need to work so hard for what the rest of us consider a basic task.

How do you know the player watching you was telling your location to another alliance? Also, you could just ride to a different location. Besides, NB's are so OP right now it's practically cheating to play one right now.

If you want to report this as suspicious, just take a video and link the video in your complaint. But it's going to take a lot more than your guessing at what the other player is doing to get ZOS to take action.

As an FYI OP, the new(ish) tab marking system persists through stealth. While they won't be able to see your marker while stealthed, if an enemy marks you they'll be able to spot you on the compass as soon as you exit stealth. Could've just been that.

I also observed this behavior in Imperial City (NO CP). It's always the same guild (Imxxxxxx Wrxxx) and the same players (often lots of special characters in the name, Russian accounts).
You are tagged and pursued by players from the same alliance, and their guildmates from a different faction then get the easy kill because you have no chance of getting away.

    I didn't know that, thanks!

Yes, this is the guild you're talking about.

This is not true, not for cloak atleast.

    It is though?

Im not referring to tab targeting itself - I'm referring to the somewhat new icon system that allows you to put a symbol over an enemy.

If you put a symbol over a nightblade, the symbol will disappear while they are cloaked, but will reappear once they leave cloak. Since you can see the icon on your compass, this makes it much harder for a nightblade to say, cloak around LOS to escape.
