Sorry to say, but this poll is pointless because the concept of difficulty in an MMO can depend a lot on various factors that do not apply to everyone.

For instance, a Sorcerer may find it hard, whereas a melee class doesn't. Or vice versa.

depends on the class you play whether the pve content is challenging or not. as a templar healer i find it challenging in some areas where my dk soars thru, but generally on landscape mobs it easy going. boss and dungeons fights can be a pita solo

You lack the option i would like.

Most mobs are not a problem , tons of bosses , are not a problem. All this i would consider from easy to normal even on VR.

Now , in the middle of those "normal" mobs , they add completely broken enemies , that are clearly OP , and those destroy you.

My opinion is , something things need to become stronger , and some weaker. The problem is not just one sided.

Way too easy, at least the non veteran content. Everything was doable on first or second try till now (I am lvl 41 atm). Got mage guild and warrior guild finished at 37/38 (suggested lvl 43), all dungeons on first try with uncoordinated group finder groups (when they didnt bug out of course).
I heared even veteran group content is easily soloable for some builds.
They should make everything like 3 steps harder instead of nerfing it (see v1.1 patchnotes)

Some of ya'll non answer'ers are reading too much into the answers. Don't over analyze it, it's just a question, not a trick.

I lean more on the side where for the most part, I like a wee little more challenge. Seems like so far, a good amount of people are finding it just right, which is perfectly 'k with me.

I'm not here to make some profound point. It's a poll, you can make a poll, I made a poll, why make it more than that?

I will however give reactions based on your answers, so maybe it isnt pointless?

As a full blown temp healer spec with sword and Board as my questing skill line, The 1-50 was not hard, but going into VR content I get destroyed like no tomorrow. I cannot solo anything without Vamp Swarm up. I cannot dps without running out of both Stam and magicka. My weapon AA is so ***. I dont get this game if it has options to spec everything and still get destroyed.

Didn't vote as none of those options feels quite right.

This is part of the problem of an MMO. You can't exactly set it to certain difficulty levels based on players skill and interaction levels. How do you set difficulty with such a wide range of player skill levels?

There is no good answer unless they would actually allow players to choose a difficulty level of the instance when entering a dungeon. Even that opens up a whole lot of other issues.

Personally, I would have been happier if they made a lot more instancing. People could choose to tackle a dungeon solo without a ton of other players killing everything around them. If people wanted to actually group to take on an instance, that option would still be open to them. Much of the game doesn't seem challenging, only because there are always 10 other people (or bots) around killing those things that are supposed to be challenging fights. All the 'boss' characters never live longer than 2.3 seconds.

I would appreciate more skill based content to up the difficulty, but ESO concept usually kills it. When a boss would be tough you usually have lots of players running around killing it in 2-3 sec. So besides dungeons which feels ok, the rest is easy if you are using the appropriate abilities and hard if you have no clue what you are doing and stand in fire eh. Heck I see players running naked, killing stuff trying to find a challenge!
Along with the wayshrine every 20 steps and quests completed in less then 10 min, hard to find accomplishment in this game. Don't get me wrong I still love it but unfortunately it's cathering too much to the modern feed me with a spoon player type.
