PS NA server lagging badly 2pm est

Getting less than 1 fps at times, it takes several seconds to pick up items or interact with them. It took much longer today just to turn in daily crafting writs. I tried to do the Alik’r dolmens but there was severe freezing and stuttering. Stuff was dead before I could use any skills. Lag is everywhere not just in areas with lots of players.

I am fearful for the weekend if this is a big strain on the servers.

EDIT:
BTW did an internet check and I get 600 mbps download so it seems okay on my end.

I want to do that I have played every day of the event and it has not been like this.

Thanks but I already did the troubleshooting on my end before posting.

Later in the day it wasn’t so crowded there so maybe some more instances were created to reduce the load. There were just so many players there in one spot.

Yes, no further problems after that one incident. Thankfully I was able to enjoy the event the rest of the time.
