[Bug] Sets stop working in Endless Archive

Sets at some point stop working in Endless Archive. You have to unequip one piece and equip it to activate the bonus again.

Maybe it could be related with the parts where you are transformed to a book?

I got the same issue after being transformed to a goat. I guess any of these transformations can trigger it.

ive noticed this issue as well, i didnt think about it being related to the transformation mini games, but i see it likely as it suppresses your sets while in those states

might be half of the reason arc 2/3 get harder when you realize no gear sets are working lol

Thanks for the heads up, I think this might have happened to me as well, because I was using a set for extra armour and when I logged out I noticed my values being lowered, but didn't check any further. Will have to keep an eye when I'm there next time.

My partner and I experienced this as well. I'm kinda surprised they didn't implement these side-games in the same way they did in Frostvault when you "become" a Skeevatron. 😅
Those work fine and you don't even need to resummon your pets every time afterward like you do in Endless Archive (Which, side note, is really annoying).

Had the same issue here, my Whorl of the Depths and Ring of the Pale Order stopped working and required to be reequipped to get it back to work again, I didn't really noticed what triggered it, but we did the goat and the watchiling puzzle, might have been one of them.

Can confirm this is indeed happening: I checked after clearing the watching transformation portal, and the major resolve buff from my monster set was gone, so my resistances were lower. I unslotted and reslotted the helm piece, like OP said, and the bonus showed up again. It didn't happen every time I went into a side portal, but I kept checking nevertheless every time just in case. Bringing this to the attention of @ZOS_Kevin because I bet a lot of people are doing their runs not realizing their set buffs might be missing. Thank you to the OP for letting us know about it!

Can confirm!

The buffs granted by the Oakensoul Ring weren't displayed in my buff list anymore and my stats changed noticably after turning from a watcher back into a dunmer again.
Un- and reequipping the ring had the buffs return and work.
Un- and reequipping a piece of each set that I was wearing turned my stats back to normal.

Sets in use are: Deadly Strike, Slimecraw and Order's Wrath

I hope this will be fixed soon.
