Ritemaster Bond bugged?

I put a full set of Ritemaster`s on my Necromancer today and it never showed a beam to one of the gamers that I was with. I have Spell Power Cure and Sentinel of Rkugamz for the other sets. Rapid Regeneration, Illustrious Healing, Combat Prayer and Renewing Undeath on the front bar. Energy Orb on the back bar, the rest are buffs and debuffs.     Interesting. Of those, only Combat Prayer is going to work for creating the tether - the rest in that list are HoTs (heals over time), not direct heals. Could you test just by using that to ensure you’re hitting them? (Also, I assume they’re not in Ring of the Pale Order.)

    The other thing I’d wonder is if your friend has “show additional ally effects” turned on or off. The game might consider the tether unnecessary for the target to see, and that option allows people to cut down on the extraneous visuals so they can keep their screens cleaner and possibly get better performance.

    What I was trying to build is alot of secondary healing and direct heals. Using the Ritemaster to build a tether from the tank to me then use the Necrmancer tether from a corpse. I hit the tank then repeated over and over on the DPS because of course I had to keep them alive. I never saw a tether but I never considered the ring of Pale order. I`ll try on some of my friends to see if the effects work or not.

    I just tested it on a friend and no tether. So I can`t tell if it is not showing or broken so I`ll leave it to the Devs to look at.

    I tested this set on the PTS, it only seems to work when you effectively heal a target that lost some health, it doesn't seem to work on targets with already full life, oh and only with direct healing.

    If you're not seeing the tether with a tank, that's not going to be Pale Order. Most dps also won't run it in group content - I was mentioning it in case there was just one dps you were seeing the issue with.

    Since the only direct heal skill you have in that setup is Combat Prayer, you would need to create the tether using that - or by the splash heal from the last tick of a resto heavy. Combat Prayer is a great healing spammable, but that's in large part due to the fact that it's an AoE. If multiple players are under 100% health when Combat Prayer hits them, the game will choose one of them to put the tether on. To ensure the tether is placed on the tank, that player would have to be the only one under 100% health when your Combat Prayer hits them. And the splash heal from the heavy chooses one person apparently at random, so that's probably even more unreliable. Either way, it will be a bit tricky to proc exactly when and on whom you want in a consistent manner.

    I did get it to proc today with only one skill, Renewing Undeath works but the Combat Prayer does not. Did not matter if the gamer was full or low on health Combat Prayer did not proc. So I take it as it is bugged in certain ways, I like how I can tether to a gamer then use my Braided Tether also and give tremendous amounts of heals. Just wish I can use a direct approach to start on a specific target then the Braided tether to flow around the DPS .

    I have also been testing this out in and out of combat, in dungeons, at volcanic vents, and have not been able to consistently proc it. It just randomly works some times.
    Using it on an arcanist, with combat prayer, runemend, also tested various Hots just in case.

    Like I said it has procced seemingly at random, from combat prayer on full health people not in combat, but same situation in combat, not at full health it hasn't.
    I've been in range and tried all sorts of combinations. Ive seen it proc maybe half a dozen times, with no real predictable pattern. How is this set supposed to work?

    Is this another failed set that will just get ignored because none of it really matters outside the meta. Part of my frustration with the game is how few fun sets remain, and poor performing ones just get neglected.

    Tried it in an organised group setting and procced it more consistently.
    The target has to be injured and it has to be a direct heal such as combat prayer, no HoTs work. Have to stay within 15m whole time, and the beam is narrow. A little too restrictive to be really functional in difficult content. Anything less challenging though and you don't really need it.
