So I get home from work, and download the 1.0.7 update.
Everything is fine, login in screen - ok
Logged in - ok
Character select screen - ok
Click 'Play' and I get the LOGGING IN Requesting Character Load message - ok
The splash screen appears for the zone my character is trying to log in appears and then within 3-4 seconds I get the [We're sorry. The Elder Scrolls Online has quit unexpectedly] dialog box pop up.

I have tried all my characters (7 in Glenumbra - alts and mules) and my main in Auridon (V1 DC character) and the same.

I went out of game, ran repair on the launcher and updated my graphics drivers.

Still the same, every login on any character.

I have had zero issues along these lines before todays update.

What else should I be trying to resolve this?

My husband is having the EXACT same problem... I am not having any trouble getting on myself, but he can't log onto any character... and we can't find any answers for it.... getting tired of NOT being able to play together...if he is able to get on, we now only have about 2hrs of play time... not worth the monthly sub for all these troubles we keep running into.

I have two laptops, one of which has ALWAYS gotten that message from get go, I'd rather be playing on the one that ESO doesent run on. For now, I'm stuck running it on my backup laptop (which is my work laptop). :'(

However you need to goto the customer support or technical support side, someone could prolly get you some help in figuring it out.

Just to make sure. do you use addons?
have you tried disabling them if so?

@Brabok Embarrassingly, this was the issue.
Last night I ended up uninstalling the game and then redownloading it (8 hours! Rural Ohio, curse you DSL! lol). So I woke up early this morning, started the game up and had exactly the same issue at exactly the same point.
So I ran Minion, updated 6 or 7 add-ons (why I did not do this last night, as it is something I do almost every night anyway, I do not know!) and started the game again. Success!
My next step was to disable all add-ons at the character select screen (in case it was one which did not have an update on Minion ready), so maybe others can try that if needed.

@shawnie1975 , @chryos - I hope you find a solution to this issue, and maybe this will help diagnose.

Well, normally I dont use addons (well not as of yet). the night that I downloaded it on my older computer it worked fine, ever day after that it failed to run. It could be that my older one runs windows vista so maybe thats the issue. my older computer has a far superior video card so that was why i was wanting to use it. But it's ok, I am getting a another computer strictly for gaming soon enough.
