Vampire Passives Mandatory for Competitive PvE-Endgame?

Hello, i am not a vampire and i dont want to become one as i dont want to mess up the look of my character and dont like vampires in general. But the magicka/stamina regeneration and damage-mitigation passives alone are so good, that i feel if you want to get the most out of your character, you have to become a vampire.

I know that it is easy to reach caps but from a min/max competetive pve-perspecive, even 0,5% regeneration or 1 additional cast per minute matter (numbers made up). ESO is not a vampire-game, so it would be nice to have a choice. At the moment vampire skills/passives are an improvement for every class and every build and not having them is a disadvantage.

You won't be saying that when you're up against fire bosses, or otherwise enemies which uses fire as their primary element of attack.

I know that the "cost" of becomeing a vampire is the reduction of your fire resistance, but only some enemies deal fire damage, while the increased damage-mitigation and ressource regeneration works all of the time. Furthermore a lot of fire damage can be evaded or blocked. If that is not the possible it can be mitigated by fire resist enchantements on jewellery. So in the end you gain a lot more than you lose by becomeing a vampire.

dude, I know people are arguing about that, but fire resist is counted to spellresist. You CAN´T LOWER the more fire dmg you take, no matter what you do, you will always take 50% more fire dmg. And nearly EVERY caster mob in this game does fire dmg. Serious ^^ I got one hit so many times with fire .. also in dungeons that you really get afraid of fire.

Then, the -75% health regen.. you notice that a lot. Where others regenerate after combat, you don´t. Where players live through encounters by gaining health every second, you don´t.

The passivs are OKisch, but you cap the regeneration for magicka and stamina very easy .. which makes it more or less useless stat except you go for really full magicka / stamina regen without any life etc. (full spec into one of each and it might bring you another 3-4 magicka/stamina reg additional).

the faster walking when hiding.. not important for pve at all, more or less it looks *** ^^

the 50% dmg reduction when on 50% hp.. yeah well.. I don´t notice that a lot since I play a ranged character or healer. when I get dmg it mostly kills me anyway (the passiv don´t prevents from one-shots or really hard hits if live is above 50%).

on the other side, vamps are pretty buggy atm, so .. if you die, you can start relogging to get your passivs back. or if you have a loading screen in general (moving from area to area for example).

pve min/max .. vampire is not mandatory to get the best stats ingame. Try to get emperor (serious) .. this will boost your stats. they keep the passivs (reduced stats but hey, its passiv) when they lose their status. :)
