Sound bug - NO SOUND!

Hi.

I have an issue, The load menus/screens work fine on starting up, but when it gets to the login page, from the out, and while in-game, absolutely NO sound AT ALL.

What can i do?

Can you try a "repair" on your launcher and tell us if it fix the problem, please ?

Same issue here. Tried repair, still no sound. Double checked the ini file and it's enabled with a 1. Tried to reset audio to default settings, tried to set volume to anything less than 100. None of those things help. During logos there is a sound, as well as during the cinematic opening. But that is it. Macbook Air running native version.

I'm having the exact same issues. I've worked with support, (by the way props to the support team and everyone that works on this game, you guys are the best) and we can't seem to figure out what the issues are. Here are the steps i took with the support team over a 45 minute support call (no other mmo will do that for you):

1. restart the computer with a selective boot
2. refresh the playback devices
3. updated audio drivers
4. repaired the launcher
5. reset defaults in game
6. changed sound quality from dvd to cd
7. attempting to use another playback device (headphones)

Despite the heroic efforts of the support team and my own haphazard attempts to correct this, the no sound bug still remains. If any of you guys have experienced the same things let me know if anything (that i have not listed or has been previously described) has worked for you. Sound is a MUST in this game. The voice acting, ambient sounds and by the Nine that sound track. Sound makes the game. So help!

Similar. no exact same problem after fifth reinstall(completely removed all eso related files), and still no damn sound.Any updates on this. Trying yet again another repair, which due to the fantastically crap launcher will no doubt corrupt several other files resulting in said reinstall yet again.Today is the first day since patch I even managed to get a log in due to forever corrupting files from dowloads/installs, joy of joys no sound. Amd R9 290 tri-x and a 3570k if that has any relation to anyone else's issues/resolutions.

I had a problem like this. I have an Asus Xonar DSX.

I had to manually put the driver into "6 channel" output mode using the driver control panel to make the sound work. I only have a few games that require this, including Age of Conan.

If you have an Asus sound card, I hope this helps you?

I get no sound when "pulling" the handbills from the announcement boards after the Necrom patch. MSI Trident with HyperX Cloud Alpha S headphones.
