Yup, relogging and teleporting doesn't work for me, only restarting. If my character does die in the first smaller wave, even when I can kill the larger group that then triggers after respawn by using an ultimate, the bug at the end still applies (objective remains to kill ancient warriors yet they are already dead).

I entered the room today, and got like 20 ancient ghost on my tail, after 6 wipes, I knew I had to come back later when im stronger.
So for me the quest works, sadly dont know why yours dont

Well that is merely the start of the bug, they're not suppose to all come at you at the same time. I managed to get through it right after a maintenance patch. When it works, they will come at you nicely in 3s and 4s.
The worst part isn't that they might come at you at the same time, it's that if you eventually manage to kill all 20 somehow, the quest will not progress. So it's a double whammy when that happens....1
