Kicked from the server... and I can't log in anymore

PC EU, me and my husband were playing and both (at the same time) were kicked off.
We cannot relog in.
We tried to restart windows, restart Steam, restart everything, but nothing.
My internet connection is great right now, it's not an internet issue.

BaalMelqartu✭✭✭✭I was suddenly booted. When I tried to log back in I got a "unexpected error, please contact customer service" message. I waited a few more minutes and was able to get back in. PC NA.1 -

✭✭Steam often does maintenance at around this time of day Tuesdays, which makes the Steam login process fail if you try it. This doesnt typically last very long though.2 -
