I did motes a couple weeks ago and it was bugged then. We got it done in about 20 minutes. That's how long it took us to convince the other 30 people standing on the rock to come down the path and try the work around (reset event). Took us 3 tries and was done. Some of the guys yelled profanities that they can do whatever they want and we didn't know anything... they don't have to listen to us we're not GMs etc... eventually with patience we got it across it was to help us all.

I recommend encouraging people to wait at the bottom of the path not on the rock, to encourage people to flock to what looks like the right spot. IDK if this is still not working, but if you can get them to follow it is fast. Quest really needs to be fixed if it's still broken. It is a very frustrating block.
