CANNOT LOGIN USING CORRECT USERNAME AND PASSWORD

I am having an issue of not being able to login to my game. This started when the latest event started, I can log into my account no problem. The error reads as follows: Logiin failed. Your username or password may be incorrect or inactive at this time. If you purchased the game through Steam or Stadia, please sarrt the game on the platform.

I know my credentials are correct. I do not play the game through steam or stadia. So what would cause my account to be "inactice at this time" if I managed to login using the same creds as yesterday? Note, there were a few messages as above flashed before they would be accepted.

    Thanks, but that is not the problem either. My account information is correct. I can access my account board no problem using the same credentials. It is when I am logging into the game. I can apply the EXACT same credentials 10-15 times before they will take and let me log into game. That seems really odd and highly frustrating, as like yesterday I could not log into game at all. This morning, it took 3 attempts before letting me in. What gives??

    I know it is not a ME problem, it is a game programming problem.

    Do you have any special characters in the password or account name?

    Anyway, it might just be easier to change the password to something else rather than waiting for ZOS to fix a game programming problem.

    telling me wrong password on game login (it is not!)
    giving me page not found error on account page.
    so happy i just reupped my sub the timing is impeccable.

    Trying to go to the account page gives me a 500 Internal Server Error.

    Same issue here, can not log into game, can not log into account here at website.

    It looks like the whole of the account backend database is down, event the account web page is down showing 404 not found or 501 errors.

    Dozens of people can't log into the game, web site, or support system, and your suggestion is we ought to flood the system with support tickets?
    AD is the best looking faction. I don't make the rules, I just enforce them.

    I was playing just now and suddenly ctd. Now I cannot login to any of my accounts on any of the 2 servers. Also cannot login to my accounts on the website.
