I just sat in a 5 min load screen waiting to get into a dungeon. Then I was booted before I even got into the dungeon. I was going to just crash the game, but I wanted to see if it would finally let me in. I won't even bother trying to log again because when this happens it almost always says I am logged in.
This is shameful. And no this is NOT bashing. It is me stating that the quality of this game, the condition of it is at such an appalling level that ZOS should be giving full refunds. If your TOS were not so filled with jargon to cover its butt from such fantastically poor quality, you would have to refund people their money. And then, you would go out of business. But gamers on whole have learned to tolerate this level of quality. We've learned to make excuses. We've learned to not play at certain time or not do certain things at certain times. We have learned to work around all the seemingly endless quality problems this game has been having for years. We've learned to accept things that if we were just starting a game, we would quit. We've learned to tolerate endless promises that things will get better. We've learned to keep giving you our money because there are a times when things are not terrible.
And now we have a major event. One that many look forward to. We just had a major update, one that people do show up for to play new content. And for both of them we were met with disappointment, unable to run dungeons, or get through load screens, or even just login.
How is this acceptable?
It's a saturday early morning to noon in PC/NA server's area. Normally not a busy time.from my experience. It usually picks up later in the day. It might be a bit busier right now with the event, but nothing compared to what it will be tonight. And already I have endless load screens that timeout my game. The issue was not fixed. You shut down the game for several hours during a major event and the issue still is not fixed.
So now it is at the point where, if people want to play, we have to calculate how to play to work around the endless issues that this game has. Should I pick up shards? Well there are load screens. Should I run a dungeon? Well there is a queue that might be broken and a load screen. Should I just stay in one zone and never use a shrine? That's probably safe. Now, if only I could get in. Yep, that is the way I am learning to play ESO.
And again, this is not bashing. This is me stating what has been going on and how I tried to work around ESO's issues. It is me stating being that all the fixes, all the extra maintenances have not solved any of the problems. It is me wondering why anyone would even bother with this game given its current state and its current issues. That is not bashing. It is a customer articulating very clearly how they feel about things as they are. I suspect I am not alone.
