What this game needs is craftable glowing armors and weapons . This is something I miss and would make weapons and armor less boring looking .

I think there is already enough glow with all the abilities, don't really need any glowing armor.

    No.

This is an Elder Scrolls game. Not WoW. This game is meant to be on the more realistic side of fantasy games.

But weapons change with Glyphs mine has Fire Damage and quite often Immolates when drawn.

And whilst these vanity aspects maybe nice. I'd rather more content myself.

Some of the previous Elder Scroll games would like to have a word with you. I know in other games specifically Morrowwind you could enchant stuff and guess what? It glows.

I would rather not have a light show and a rainbow after every horse because of the colours.

Love it with the weapon draw effect and when it and enemy get electrified or buned at death though!

My Resto staff glows enough, which I don't like. I hope that bug gets fixed soon.

Those are effects to show that stuff is echanted. I like the enchanted effects in this game too, but I don't want people running around in armor that glows like the sun and shoots out unicorns with raindows coming out of their arses.

With Patch 1.3.3 some gear sets have visual effects. The only one I have seen so far is the Sanctuary set, which is a looted set. The effect has green glowing orbs floating around you when you have all 5 items equipped for the full set bonus. Screenshot_20140807_174912_zpsad15a2e8.jpg

Thank-you for posting that. I now know which set I will never wear 5 pieces of.

Morrowind also had mods that removed the crappy looking plastic wrap effect, cause you know, it looked like crap. More particles and shader effects look cheap and only blinds you in raids and cause gfx lag when there is alot going on. When I tanked in AoC I had to turn off all fx other than my own to even see what the hell was going on around me, it sucks for melee players.

morrowind had the Best looking glow to all armor and weapons ive ever seen in Any single player and Any mmo ever created.
all they have to do is return to the origonal things they had in morrowind and it will be loved in not only this world but the entire galaxy.
morrowind was the best game ever created and will never be surpased untill they add all that was in morrowind to eso :)

No thanks, dyed weapons and shields would be nice, but I don't want to glow in the dark.

They already compromised the art style with the power ranger colors added with the dye system. I don't think we need glowing armor and weapons.

The dyes haven't ruined the game, what colours you use is up to you, personally I choose a colour scheme that suits the character I'm playing. Only my DK is overcoloured (bright red), and that suits him.
