Deconstructing from your alt

Do you get the same EX boost for deconstructing item made by an alt?

No..you get more from deconstructing someone else's stuff..and more than de-constructing from your same character

Try it, all characters can perform level 1 crafts.

I don't know, I have two accounts for this and other things, my guess is that probably using stuff made by a character on the same account doesn't benefit from the bonus but I haven't tried it to know.

You definitely get more xp than you would from deconstructing the same character's stuff, but I'm not sure if it's as much as deconstructing stuff made by someone else. I did a bunch of this to level my smithing when I was just starting crafting, but now I'm not bothering as just deconstructing the stuff I find levels me more than fast enough.

In fact, I kind of screwed up and leveled my smithing too fast, as now the only ore I get in my hireling bags is stuff that I can craft with, but I'm not high enough level to wear it yet.

Alts are different characters and you get the boost to inspiration as you'd expect. I had thought of levelling several characters at the same time to make for more efficient craft levelling, but decided against it in the end.

Could you please put some numbers for a support of this? Or somebody who tested it... Thank You in advance.

    This. Right here.

I tried to craft items for my blacksmith with my provisioner to see what the level difference, if any, may be.
I crafted 25 daggers and my blacksmith definitely got more inspiration that if she crafted them herself.

My provisioner will not be upgrading, so this will only work for a little while, until I can find a partner to level with.

Something to consider when using an alt vs partnering with another player. You are splitting your materials feeding two characters for the same amount of play time. With a partner that doubles (well increases over just your time) the amount of time in-game questing, harvesting, getting drops etc.

So you end up working harder by going the anti-social route. :)

Currently leveling 6 characters that cover all the crafting to break up the Skill Point usage.

Not "anti-social" as I have in game friends I chat up.

I generate a constant influx of materials for all my crafters as I quest with my alts. And then I have to clean out all the supplies I've accumulated that are in the bank. So I craft, craft, craft when swapping out characters.
