[Spoilers] Question about the Aldmeri Dominion primary quest line.

So here's the thing - in the Aldmeri Dominion, your character pretty quickly becomes an Eye of the Queen - a cloak and dagger type agent mostly (at least as far as I've gotten) concerned with rooting out seditious groups like the Veiled Heritance.

It's a pretty cool conceit really, but it leads to a situation where I honestly feel rather out of place as anything but a 'rogue' type character. I feel like I'd be particularly out of place clomping around in a set of plate armor, which is very often what I like to do.

So what I'm wondering here is: Does the storyline ever change away from subterfuge? I don't need details (in fact I'd prefer only the most necessary to get the point across), but just a general change toward more overt actions as you move along?

I've only gotten to level 12 so I'm not especially far, but at this point it really looks like this Eye of the Queen gig is going to act as one of the core elements of the main quest line through the AD.

It's fine if that's the case, but it would mean I'd probably need to reroll my AD character.

Even if the general plan is cloak and dagger, there are plenty of tasks you have to do that are brute force.
Even for the sneaky parts, you don't have to actually do anything in a sneaky way - you are a face no one suspects to be an agent,That's enough to go places where others would be recognized. Your clanking armor makes no difference. No one knows you are not a regular Joe Shmoe, trampling about.

I see. Hrm, I guess we'll just have to see how it goes then.

Honestly , yeah , after you leave auridon you become more of the ... hammer of the queen, while there are still some here and there.

With that said , there are many missions around the game , not only the main quest , where you must act like a rogue , using disguises , infiltrating ...
