Yeah, sneak attacks got broken.... again. It is a guaranteed crit that stuns with extra bonus damage on top if the target is an NPC. What's broken right now is the bonus damage that'd otherwise lead to a disastrously devastating blow against an NPC.

I also noticed that my Sneak speed dropped from 100% (pre-update) to 70% (post-update).

Can I assume this also has been broken in some way?

On the up-side, my Stamina Recovery inexplicably went up from 1900+ to 2100+ although I made no changes in Mundus Stone, gear or buffs. (It had initially dropped when they downgraded the Champion Point "Rejuvenation.")

No idea if the Critical Damage issue, the Sneak Speed reduction and the increase in Stamina Recovery were intentional or just another "busted with the Update" sort of thing. I read through through the Update notes but since I do not actually have Eidetic Memory I don't recall seeing if these things were intentional changes or not.

I do recall seeing the Critical Damage cap of 125% -- which is fine with me -- as long as it does not nerf the Nightblade meat-and-potatoes from-Sneak big crit damage attack. That would be tragic if they did that intentionally.
