Quickslot hotkey has stopped working

Hi, all.

I’m on the PC/NA server. Windows 10, completely update. Ditto computer hardware and drivers. Using a Corsair keyboard.

When I logged in today, the hotkey for quickslot items stopped working (Q). It still worked in in-game chat, as well as other programs. So not a keyboard issue. Things I’ve tried to fix it (with nothing working):

1. Tried a different keyboard.
2. Did a repair install if ESO.
3. Tried reassigning quickslot to other keys and key combos.
4. Rebooted computer after each of these.
5. Disabled and uninstalled Greymind’s Quickslot Bar. Only addon I have that seemed like it might affect it.
6. Disabled out-of-date addons.

All other keybinds work just fine - it’s only trying to use a hotkey with quickslot. Everything worked fine up until today.

Any thoughts or suggestions on possible fixes would be appreciated. Thank you.

I don't see you mentioning double checking that Q hadn't been bound to another function as well. Or if the quick slot bind hasn't gotten itself bound to another key.

I once rebound a function to a different key without noticing that I did it. I never saw the pop up window nor did I choose to rebind the key. But I was looking at my key binds and when I exited one of them had changed. I noticed it right away, so I went back in and fixed it.

Thank you for the suggestion. I did check. Q is not bound to any other function.

As mentioned, Quickslot still would not activate if I tried a different keybind that had never been used (I tried various numbers, both parentheses, and both brackets).

I also tried swapping with another, working keybind. Swapping Q for W (walk), pressing Q would cause the char to walk; pressing W would do nothing, though it was now set to launch the quickslot interface.

The only thing I haven’t tried is binding a mouse button to quickslot. I’ll try that tomorrow.

The other steps I've tried, with no success:

1. Binding Quickslot to a mouse button.
2. Disabling all addons (actually moved them all to a separate folder after disabling).

Still cannot access the Quickslot menu via hotkey or any key.

Resolved. It just started working again, today, after running a trial. Made me really appreciate having the Quickslot menu and keybind.
