Hello,
First of all, I'm using computers since the 80's so I kinda know what I'm doing. All my desktop PC's are being build by me, etc.
Last year I replaced my home desktop PC with Win 10 Pro. After a few months I decided to give it a try to the new TESO expansion ... so I bought it and bam! ... the game isn't starting. This PC is an AMD Ryzen 3700X with 32gb ram nvidia RTX 2060 Super.
Having also a laptop from 2018, I installed TESO on my laptop and surprise! ... it's working fine on the same internet connection (Vodafone optical fiber) in Italy. This is an Intel 7700HQ with 32gb ram and nvidia 1060TI video card, manufactured by Dell.
Useless to say that I tried every little advice I could find here on forums. Disabling firewall, enabling only the specific inbound ports, reinstalling the game (I actually ended up installing TESO on every partition but nothing helps), assigning the video card to TESO from the Nvidia panel (but on my desktop I only have 1 video card), deleting cache directories, again reinstalling fresh, ofc all my drivers are updated to the latest version, changed the language and keyboard to US english, etc ... but nothing
If I press play from the Launcher (that is working perfectly, it repairs the game, updates it regularly) my mouse arrow is becoming a circle for 2-3 seconds and then nothing - I see the ESO64.exe process running in background, but without starting the game.
If I go to the installation folder F:\TESO\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client and I run eso64.exe the screen turns permanently black and if I click anything or press any key it shows me the option to close the program and send report or wait. Waiting does nothing - I left it like this for half an hour.
I can send you the Game Consultant report for you to investigate and eventually come with a solution.
Thank you !
