Lack of Music in Some Quests (Spoilers)

This morning I had the pleasure of finishing up the coldharbour story, main quest and finally making it to the veteran zones. The finale fight was engaging, satisfying conclusion and all, but I couldn't help but notice that there seemed to be a lack of epic score accompanying some of these moments.

One instance was when you made it into the Planemeld. The end all be all quest to Coldharbour and to Molag Bal's dark plot to pull nirn into his realm and we get the normal ambient soundtrack. It just felt like something was missing. Something that made me realize how important a musical score could be. The moment wasn't gratifying as it could have been with a more fitting track for that quest. Same with God of Schemes, epic and action packed, but the soundtrack used there is very ambient for that moment.

I don't know, does anyone else feel this way?

i feel like the game lacks diversity in music in general, i mean ffs in morrowind theres BARELY ANY MORROWIND MUSIC!??! during dungeons and areas of combat you get the same generic soundtrack over and over and over and OVER its mind numbing and making me want to smash my screen into my head.

yes OP yesssssss its lacking in any kind of epic score needed to make the end quests feel meaningful like your a bad*** and just made molag bal bow down before your glory YOU ARE A GOD!!! and yet you feel like some nub completing a quest in some generic mmo its only missing a little ding-a-ling at the end of the quest turn in to make the lameness complete.

they hired a friggen symphony and yet barely spent any money on developing more then 5 songs it seems, and your forced to listen to them over and over because the storyline is so friggen good you want to hear what the 5 different voice actors they hired to VOICE EVERY SINGLE NPC IN THE GAME has to say.

needless to say i wish they would of spent a bit more effort on making the game sound amazing knowing this isn't WoW where the sound matters for nothing and you can just turn it off and listen to music, i mean in skyrim you had epic dragon slaying music and in ESO you have 1 little combat song thats barely epic enough to take a dump too let alone slay anything, don't even get me started on pvp, they have massive siege weapons with amazing sound effects smashing and exploding and swinging power through the air and NO EPIC MUSIC!

how epic would it be to have amazing epic music while tearing down the walls of your enemies keep! seriously ZOS? seriously? how'd this slip through your fingers....
