Suggestion for possible new motifs, crafting quests

I was thinking about how high the motifs are selling for and a better solution than just farming wardrobes and such. The ridiculous prices, to me, really limit and screw with the economy when there are already high prices for selling, mailing cod, and repairs. While perhaps to big to change current motifs, maybe just higher drop rates, I thought of a fun way to learn new racial motifs. I don't know if anyone else has stated this, is so im sorry, I am not trying to steal credit. I just don't frequent forums.
So I was thinking learning a new racial craft style should be more like real life. You find a person, npc, who knows it. You train, do quests, and craft under them. So like in life you are an apprentice and learn the craft. Takes away motif farming, adds more quests, and more immersion in crafting. To restrict it so its not widespread right away, or rare, put a level requirement on it, or even a skill point in the certain craft tree. I just think this would be a lot more fun and add so much more than motif farming. Also the next motif you should add should be dwarven.
Any thoughts or ideas from you guys on this?

I kind of like the idea of taking on an apprentice, as it is now im level 50 blacksmith with all normal races styles and Daedric + Ancient elf + Primal + Barbaric.

Im at the limit of what I can do with my chosen profession, would be nice to pass on knowledge to other players through a mentor type situation .... nothing like this in any MMO would set ESO crafting leagues apart.

    Possible idea :

    1) 3 quests per day could be handed out by the mentor.

    2) Apprentice needs to complete all 3 per day for 4 days while in the group with mentor and at the same location.

    3) On the 4th day there is a final exam, the apprentice will be handed a
"training motif" of the style they are trying to learn.
Training motif only crafts statless training items to avoid exploiting.

Trainig motiffs are crafted at level 40+ in each skill line, the apprentice will craft two purple quality items in the style they are trying to learn. They hand thse to the mentor who has to complete his mentor quest "decompose 2 purple quality " training items in [insert style] to get access to the apprentice book, give this to the apprentice to complete final exam quest "receive apprentice book from mentor".

Just my idea, seems quite easy to add something like this in ... I guess

I like that idea as well. Being able to learn from other players. I am just worried that it will turn into more players selling "motifs" at even higher prices and you being commited to someone that may not be reliable to help you as best as possible. I think they could implement both ways with learning from another player being the faster route to help promote more of a community. Having both open will at least lower prices if people charge to be mentors.

I really think if they implemented this from now on it would be a big boon to the ESO mmo. As you said, no other mmo has this and it would add a huge side to the crafting experience. Also I just thought of it, I can't wait until they add an ebony style motif. Ebony armor has always been the nicest looking to me and was looking forward to seeing it in ESO.

I also think that this would be a great idea. It would really bump up the game some.
