"Log Out" causes close to desktop...

This just started happening today. When I "Log Out" to try and reach the character selection screen I instead get dropped to my desktop and the game closes. Either something is causing a crash to desktop or the "Log Out" command is incorrectly being interpreted as "Quit". This happens even with no addons loaded.

ChimpyChumpy✭✭✭Same happened to me for a full day was a real pain with 18 characters doing writs. Next day was completely fine. Never did figure out what the issue was.0 -

✭I also saw a thread related to Razer mice causing such problems somewhere. I don't have a Razer mouse but I am using a razer keyboard. @EntropicLynx are you using any Razer hardware at all?0 -
EntropicLynx✭✭✭I don't use a Razer mouse or keyboard, but I do use Razer Cortex for some limited memory management while running the game. Has never been an issue before, though, and hasn't done an update in the last few days.
I don't believe that it has anything to do with addons. Like I said in my original post, this happens even if I have all addons turned off. Technically, when I tested it with "no addons" I did have libraries and Addon Selector loaded, but nothing else. I do not have any addons that relate to the log out or quit process, so it seems unlikely that it would be addon related anyway. But if I still have the same problem tonight, I'll try with truly zero addons loaded and see if it helps anything.0 -

I am still having the issue, so I tried disabling all addons, including Addon Selector and libdialog (which is needed for Addon Selector). Once I did that, things worked fine. So I tried with just the library loaded (libdialog only) and it once again started closing to desktop instead of logging out to character select.
So, at least in my case, it seems that it is a problem with libdialog, although I'm still unclear on how it could be causing this issue. Hopefully there will be an update to the library soon. I'm going to post to the comments for it on ESOUI to let them know it's an issue.
In the meantime, I have to decide which would be more annoying: this close to desktop issue, or running without the addons that I'm used to that use libdialog.
[EDIT] So, it looks like the only addons that I use that require libdialog are Addon Selector and Beam Me Up. Nevertheless, those two are both quite important to me, so I, personally, will keep the addons and deal with the log out issue. Hopefully something can be corrected with it to stop this problem. But it is very odd that this all started in the last 24 hours even though there haven't been any updates to libdialog or the game in that time.Edited by EntropicLynx on 20 July 2020 07:370 -

ratlingraiderSoul ShrivenI too am having this issue after the recent update, not sure I can clear up anything between add-ons or Razer devices because I use add-ons that utilize libdialog as well as a Razer keypad. I will note, my wife uses pretty much the same add-ons as I do but does not use any Razer products and she is not having the problem. I'll compare our add-ons to verify and also trying re-installing libdialog as well as disabling it to compare/contrast.0
