Lacking enjoyment at the moment

I swear I want this game to be here for years to come but I'm finding it hard to get interested. The Voice overs are lovely, the quests feel like an MMO should but the combat is way too amped up. I was trying to protect the King and it felt like I was hardly tickling the "boss" while he would clean my clock easily. I don't want the game so easy I fly through it but at the same time quests like this are just a lil too powerful. If certain quests are intended to be done as groups then they need a tag so I know to expect a hard fight or avoid until I'm ready.

Honestly, I think it's all a matter of finding the right class and combination. I found, for example, that I am MUCH better at being a dual-wielding templar than I am, say, a two-handed axe wielding dragonknight. There's a lot about the combat I REALLY enjoy, but you're right, some of the boss battles, if you haven't found your groove yet, are teeth-grindingly frustrating.

I don't think any class is weak, like @Vosian said - you need to find the right balance for your class. I play a DK Sword n'Board Tank and roll through solo content. The only time I die is if I do anything stupid or through impatience (going into a new fight with no Magika/Stamina) and even then its rare.

I have been doing (so far) all the content at the correct level +/- 1 level. I am sure if your doing content much higher than your level you might struggle - but saying that, I have solo'd a few bosses 3+ levels higher just for fun ( I have also died doing this). True some fights are harder than others - and yes you might die the first time (the Emeric Boss got me too first time because I spammed all my magika/stamina at the start......) but at VR1 there has been nothing I couldn't solo with ease once I understood the mechanic.

What level are you? If you did not go straight to the starter islands you could be under leveled for that. I would not recommend it till at least 8+.

Smashed through most of the bosses with SnB/Destro DK. Some took a bit of planning and skills used changes others were simply tank n' spank solo.

Like world bosses, public dungeons, group dungeons, and cyrodil? Sounds to me like the same amount of group content any other MMO has.

I have to agree about skills and how you play. I was struggling playing my templar but since rolling a sorcerer I have found that I can complete most quests with ease, maybe you should relook at your skills and play style

Yup, got to find your niche with any class you play
I love my Templar but I have just as easy of a time with my Nightblade & Sorcerer (after a few respecs & tweeks).

Uhm. I never said any class was weak. All I said was I was better at one class than another. Not everyone is going to be able to do equally as well in every class all across the board, that's just a fact. I wasn't bashing dragonknights, or any class, for that matter. I was just saying what worked for me.
