So, I just read in the new patch notes that Doshia is getting her powers reduced. I admit, I'm one of those that was having lots of difficulty beating her, but I had planned to try again when I reached a higher level. I think I'll test her out on a new character just to see how much reduction it was. Thoughts on the update?

Interesting. I actually didn't have much trouble with her on most of my characters, just a bow focused nightblade. On my other characters I demolished her and never even noticed the healing soap bubbles...but on the Archer I have made he could not get her below half before the soap bubbles of restoration healed her right up. I couldn't target them fast enough.

The closest I came was when I hit her with a root from the siphoning line and then stepped back and hit her with the aoe that is like a storm of arrows and ran back in while that was hitting her. Got her to maybe a quarter bar of health.

I will have to make another attempt after maintenance.

I also found it makes a big difference which alliance you play as. In beta I did the quest in the AD and though I was a little slow, killed her pretty easily with a dual weapon nightblade. Currently I'm playing as a bow nightblade in EP, and it was a really long fight. I didn't have enough space to maneuver and couldn't see the orbs till they were right on top of me. I was over leveled so my health was fine, but it was super frustrating trying to get the timing right.

Doshia was the first 'good fight' that I had in the game: one which made me think/try. I enjoyed it, and am disappointed that it will be 'easy' now; I very much hope that there will continue to be a place for people who want intense challenges PVE side.

Doshia wasn't that difficult once you figured her out...I don't see the reason behind reducing her powers. Maybe players should wait until they are of level before fighting her? I see so many people complain in game about being under-leveled but they wonder why they can't successfully complete quests like this....

I remember just filling her full of arrows the first time [Sorc) and it was over quickly. The second time i had that quest (Templar) i just went toe-to-toe with a 2handed and again it wasn't difficult at all.

I honestly don't see how peeps were having so much trouble with it.

Was saddened by this. The first time I beat her (first try) it took a bit to realize she was being healed by the orbs. When I did, it was as easy as placing myself between them and her and strategically picking them off with well timed charge attacks (Tank Nightblade) I was playing with a 4 person group all within my home. I had to go around to their computers and finish her with their characters as they lacked the coordination required to get the orbs down in time. You can beat her with a level 6 with a Resto staff. Once you get the orbs down it's all about attrition. She's actually a brilliant place to practice combat coordination. You literally can't lose if you can get the orbs down.

Doshia was a pushover in AD, a pain in the arse on EP.

If you dont move her in EP, the bubbles can spawn *on* her. Moving her or trying to kite in there is also a pain in the butt.

For those unaware, in EP shes tucked in a corner cubby and stairs up to it are on the right if you face away from the back wall. Down those is a twisty short tunnel. Its a tight space if youre a kiter.

@Sakiri, that's what I was trying to get across, but you said it much better. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the different venue was heaps more frustrating than her actual fight.
