I've been trying since Wednesday and it took over 2 days to download the whole thing and then I got error 302 and it restarted downloading it again. I have gone through the procedures (the cancel update/then repair) outlined in a post from a moderator and will not know if that has worked until I wait another 2 days for it to download again. Hopefully they can help you out with it freezing on you. I would assume you have something running in the background like antivirus that you can temporarily shut off for the duration of the download. Did a clean boot and it started working I don't know why I didn't think of that before.
