GPU Load

Hi all

Just wondering if anyone else has this problem.

I'm getting low fps on a rig that I know can run this game better.

I have

AMD FX 6 core at 3.31 GHZ

Gigabyte geforce GTX 670

4 GB RAM (I know this is low but more then meets game requirements)

ASUS Sabretooth 990FX motherboard

Windows 8.1 64 bit.

Pretty sure I know why I'm getting low fps though. I have been running the game with Task Manager and GPU-Z open. ESO is only using 40% of my GPU?? and I don't know why.

I've tested this with other demanding games and the GPU % goes to 99%.

So is anyone else having this issue? any ideas on a fix.

Thank you

Well, from a rig builders perspective:
    You've got an oddball GPU.
You're running an AMD CPU with an Nvidia GPU, they tend to not play well together.

You're RAM is quite low for a game with the amount of stuff going on and being computated as you play.

MMO's tend to be more CPU and RAM centric, while FPS/Tomb Raider types tend to be more heavily GPU centric.

You didn't state WHICH CPU you were using.

Make sure your drivers all updated, not just your GPU, but your Motherboard drivers as well.

That Sabertooth motherboard, while decent, is sold mostly on its looks and 'uniqueness'.

I'm using an AMD FX Bulldozer CPU as above.

I have plenty of ram left when running the game.

I don't have any issues with any other games with an AMD CPU and Nvidia graphics card.

ESO also using 40% gpu and having horrible fps loss and spike around open and closed zones. I have an i5 3570, 8g RAM and an NVIDIA GTX TITAN...

I'm guessing this perf issue comes from the idiotic windowed fulllscreen borderless option. When will we have a true fullscreen option ?

Yeah I didn't think it was because I had a rubbish pc, and if you're having the same issue on that rig of yours then it's def the game.

    Thanks for the reply :)
