ZOS should finally add House Co-Ownership for all the Husbands and Wives. ... Or close friends.

Pretty much what titles says...

Would be great to finally see Co-Ownership of houses in 2018. Especially for those married in-game or even IRL. It's just a really nice feeling being able to FULLY share a property in a fantasy game imho.

WITH THAT BEING SAID.

Consider adding guild owned halls/guild owned houses as well pretty please?

I've seen a lot of people talk about this in-game lately for some reason.

    yes, that would be nice!!!

Yeah they should tweak the setting like in guilds, you can give someone access to pretty much everything so why not in housing.

This would be awesome! The current system makes it very tedious to decorate a friend's house, for example, since you can't pick up items and go through doors and you have to send everything you want to the person instead of just placing it down yourself.

Waiting on this to be implemented before I buy any Crown Store houses. They're just too much money to buy with incomplete functionality, and not being able to have your co-residents decorate it is a missing function.

    Yes please!

I have seen other games handle it where you can give someone full decorating permissions which allows them to drop all unbound items and pick up any unbound items, but BOUND items can only be picked up by the home owner. Prevents exploits that way--so if you drop furniture bought with crowns or from achievements, only you can pick it up, but all crafted and other unbound furniture can be dropped & picked up by anyone with permissions.

There's really no reason at all not to do this. I absolutely love decorating for other people and have collaborated on a few projects but it's needlessly tedious. I basically have to have the home owner stand around and repeatedly trade them items to drop. I turn down most offers to decorate for people because it's so time consuming. If I could drop in and decorate whenever I wanted I'd be way more willing to help out.

Also need to fix the bug where if two people are decorating at once it bugs and nobody can move items til one relogs.

    And YES to guild halls!

^ it's easy to spot the single person

But in all seriousness, it'd be amusing if they added this somewhere down the line.

Edit: Now I wish they'd add a lawyer world skill line

The real world, provides examples of why this will never come to Tamriel.

So two players buy a home together and love it and invest all this time and money in it, then innthe real world those two players have a falling out and both want the house and then ZOS should....?

Yes, yes co-ownership would be nice with my boyfriend. We live like single people in Tamriel, even though many of our characters are partnered together too.

Ouch! I can't judge your sense of humour on the scale: "s/he slipped on a banana peel, hilarious" to about anything by Monty Python.. but kindergartener's ? The joke, regardless whether you found it funny or not, was certainly not that low level. I'd say you just didn't catch it and took it literally. o_0

    As for the OP suggestion.
I think it's just too confusing? I like the idea of giving various permissions to "tenants". I'd welcome the idea of being able to give the full permission to decorate house, option 1: a decorator can place new items ( so s/he can then retrieve only the items they placed) and move around all things within the abode, 2) a decorator can place new items, retrieve/remove all items, as well as change locations of the already placed items within the abode. And that's about it. The owner of the house should be one though. Period. Like with guilds. The guild master is one.. but there're officers with lots of permissions to run a guild.
And I agree, there should be an option to give a guild house status to a house if a house intend to be a guild hall and then link to it post on the guild store page (so I don't have to look for a guild master and travel to their primary residence, it's ridiculous)

If you have a falling out it's on you to remove the other person from your house permissions.

Like if you don't trust someone not to steal from you don't have them on permissions. With that line of reasoning we shouldn't have guild banks either because someone could steal.

Yes please. Me and other half struggled like crazy to decorate the guild home. We would also love to share a home to decorate together. There's also a bug where items get frozen when you both place something.
True guild homes have also been requested lots.

Zos doesn't want to get into issues that inevitably developd between two people. It's really that simple. The husband/wife relationship is irrelevant to the issue.
