New Observatory House

I have to say very nice home I love the moving parts in the observatory area.........but well guys/gals when you walk into the room there is a door on the right that doesn't lead anywhere can't click on it. Perhaps you could change that and make it so it's stairs leading to the balcony area outside above the front door. Sort of is weird you have this door in room that does nothing.

I agree, for the price I feel there should be a couple more rooms, that would make it worth it I think

Too small for a notable home. Too much unusable space like corridors and doorways. No way to get thematic plans. When all i have is few Dwemer pipes, i can't make this my own.

Because Clockwork city is really ringing my crafting bell and Sotha Sil being the übernerd, i tried on PTS to move my crafting stations here. But they don't fit even into the biggest area. I am skipping this.

I agree that the unusable door is odd and should lead somewhere. However, next to that door is a lever to take you to another level with a couple more rooms and another balcony.

I completely agree about that extra door that doesn't actually function as a door. It would be so much better if it actually lead somewhere, to another room.

Honestly, I don't know if it would take too much programming to redo or whatever, I think a lot of us just want answers. Because, whenever I see feedback about a home that a lot of people seem to agree about (i.e. the high chamber in Tel Galen being too small, the upper balcony of Hakkvild's High Hall not connecting, or the observatory doors to nowhere), the feedback just seems to end up completely ignored with no one explaining why no changes are taking place.
ZOS should either take our feedback into consideration and potentially make the changes everyone wants to see, or (if it would require too much effort or take months and months to adjust, or something) let us know why no changes are being made.

I honestly wouldn't care if it meant I wouuldn't be able to use the home for a couple months or so! If it fixes the balcony in HHH, replaces the high chamber of Tel Galen with a larger room, or adds rooms to the observatory to make it more worth the price, I wouldn't mind not being able to use the house for a bit as long as the issues were addressed and the proper changes were made when the home was available to use again.
Unfortunately, my prediction is that the issues never will be addressed or changed. Especially now that all of these homes have been released. : (

lol I didn't notice the lever and went back to use it. It does offer a bit more room, but the view from the front door outside is really cool and I think it is a real missed opportunity to not be able to incorporate the are above the main door with stuff to be able admire the outside....heck I could see astro globe and dwarven telescope as well as other instruments allowing you to see the stars and chart them.

I don't know I really dislike putting down other people work that I'm sure time and effort went into....I just feel at times that a lot of the larger houses/strongholds came so far being really cool, yet just fell short. The Nord home with the burial area was really great...but the whole inside was just a hallway with door leading out in main room. There was this gated door that you could see another area, yet you couldn't open the gate at all. lol it was like they just forgot to make access to the room.

I furnished this house on the PTS and I can tell you it's not that hard to make stairs to access the area above the door outside.
And yes, the house looks a lot smaller if you don't use the lift.

I was just looking at this and while it is extremely cool, they should have made another floor. If you go to the sub level and look down, the view is amazing. We should be able to walk out on those platforms. I'm trying to find a hideout for all of my girls and so far, I really haven't seen anything that I would use. I own 2 of the classic homes but I really want a large one that would be perfect and haven't seen anything yet. The observatory for all it's coolness isn't worth the price to me.
