Treasure Chests Broken?

I have the CP treasure hunter perk, and today I did 26 treasure maps and only got one purple gear zone set piece. Some chests did'nt even have a blue zone set piece.
I am getting much better gear from advanced/master chests....
So...what is the point of treasure map quests anymore, they seem inferior to zone chests.

ketroc✭treasure hunter basically upgrades chest 1 level. Simple gives you the drop rates of intermediate, intermediate to advanced, advanced to master, and no change to master chests.
You also get better results from treasure mapped chests. You cannot get gold items with this passive, and it doesn't help at all on dolmen chests.0
