Lately I have been running into crashes every few hours as I am randomly running around leveling alts. I have moved to windowed mode as it is easier to close out and send reports off to Zenimax. Before moving to windowed mode it would be a 50/50 chance of hanging on a black screen that would require a full system reboot.

CPU: i7 6700K @4.2hrz (temp doesn't get over 60°C)
RAM: Ripjaws 4 - 32 Gb @ 2400hrz
GPU: 970 GTX SSC (driver 376.33)
Windows 10 Pro on Samsung 125Gb SSD
Game installed on WD Black 1Tb

Anyone else running into crashes, or have ideas on preventing them?

When a client is unstable, I strike once with a Maul behind the head, then strap him. Usually they get more calm after.

For your PC problem, a friend of mine had same trouble, turns out it was the drivers of the graphic card that he did not put in automated update. Also, I had frequent black screen-crashes when launching/playing TESO (and not necessarily other demanding programs) and it was due to the PC power unit, 650W, which got tired after 2 years (and I have similar PC configuration than you, it was really the power unit).

I have been watching my voltages and they do not seem out of sorts or to dramatically fluctuate. My PSU (NZXT 850w 80 plus Gold) is five years old, but is a solid piece that seems to still be running well based on all measurements that I know to look at.
