I am not even able to play more then 30 minutes now in PVE without a sudden and random freeze up or crash to desktop issue . I am running a new computer bought this year with Windows 10 . Great graphics card , processor and more ram then I need . The issue takes place in every zone and can even happen when standing still doing nothing at all . The drivers for everything on my PC are updated daily . The maintenance is done nightly . Other MMOs more graphic intense still run fantastic as I am beta testing some others . All my updates are current for add ons and the issue does not go away by disabling all add ons . Changes to graphics setting to lower levels does not stop the crashing .
This started during the weekend maintenance recently and has progressively gotten worse until today . Now it is just too frustrating and I need to write a bug report in hopes you will do a maintenance soon to address this . The bug is repeatable just be reloading the game and waiting 25-30 minutes . No specific playstyle seems to decrease or increase the frequency of crashes . I have replaced my old live folder just now to see if a fresh new folder will effect the issue . I will report back if it does .
This has been reported by multiple people in multiple threads
@ZOS_GinaBruno and
@ZOS_JessicaFolsom and I know you are aware . I just want to give more details in case any are helpful . Could we get any information on whether this is in fact a memory leak or something we can do on our ends until a maintenance release ? Please help because I know I would not even enter a dungeon or trial under these current issues . That's a big game breaker for many players here and hopefully a top priority in que for fixing .
Update - Creating a new live file did not solve the issue at all . Nothing so far has worked . Crashing still continues .
