As per title.

If you have 1 destro & one restro staff of worms raiment set equipped and perform a 'weapon swap' the group lose the benefit of the 5% magic cost reduction.

Same issue exists with the Ebon set, assuming the hircine does the same as well. Big has been around for quite some time....only advice I can offer is to just keep grinding for armor/Jewlery pieces and lose the weapons.

This bug is very annoying, I've reported it several times, but no response. It means Weapon/Shields in the "group buff" sets are completely useless.

Is this with the "new" BoP items? I use Worm on one healer with jewelry, one armor and resto/destro staff. Never had this issue afaik but all my gear is from pre U12.

As far as I know it's been around longer than 1tam, atleast with ebon anyway. Just run them as Jewlery/body armor and you're fine

if you are using it, it doesn't affect you, it only affects group mates

I've always avoided Worm staves because of the wonkiness of bar swapping.

    SPC staves are better, anyway.

The reason is that healers will run 5p SPC plus another 5p set. The SPC is always there, but the other 5p set changes depending on the group's composition and what the other healer is running (if you're in a 12-man trial). For example, my healer carries around a SPC set and five other sets that I would pair with SPC (Worm, Infal, Twilight, Goss, Sanctuary).

Since the SPC set is the "constant" set that you'll always have on, it's best to have it occupy the most difficult-to-acquire slots, since you only need to farm those slots once. Weapons are by far the hardest to acquire. Armor in ideal traits is in a distant second. And jewelry is by far the easiest pieces to acquire because they have fixed traits.

So you should have 4x SPC armor, a SPC destro, and a SPC resto. And then your other sets like Worm would be run as 3x jewelry and 2x armor. Luckily, there are two named SPC destro items: Molag Kena's Touch is a Powered (great trait for pure healing) Lightning staff (so you can use it to proc Infal without swapping to resto), and The Unbroken is a Sharpened Inferno staff (a good choice if you prefer to do a lot of off-DPS in 4-man dungeons).

Thx for confirmation - damn I need to look into my build then... It's the only healer with some kind of BiS without MA resto. Wellwellwell can't farm enough dungeons right? *sobs and crawls back into WGT*

Hope ZoS will look into these 3 sets at some point - It's not always easy to get BoP items in perfect trait.

Yeah I've been working for SPC resto for some time but still only have a training one. I have both The Unbroken (x2) and Molag Kena's Touch and I'm planning to use them unless I get a defending lighting staff. Looks like my sorc will be movin to WGT after she's done with CoA
